I mean. I'm biased. I hate Nikki Manaj. I mean HAAATE. Nikki Manaj. All of her songs and her attitude send me into a super rage. She's one of those artist that I understand why everyone hates.

She's down there with Bieber, Creed(mainstream Christian Rock), Chris Brown(Go screw yourself Chris Brown. Duces is one of the worst song ever), Will.I.Am, Miley Cyrus with the worst musicians out there. Why do I hate them? They're all without much talent and make millions doing so.

Different from the reasons I hate Demi Lovato, or Beyoncé, or train. These artist at least have talent(Train can't write songs, and Pat Monahan went insane a long time ago... I mean HEFTY BAG?), but I actually hate their songs. Do I respect the hell out of these artist? Yes. I just don't like their music.

Hell, I don't understand the Nickleback hate tbh. I mean, most of the stuff in their songs are less explicit than the ones in mainstream rap? Hypocrisy. At it's finest.

The hate comes from the fact that all of their music sounds the same, its generic alternative rock, anyone who can learn a few chords on a guitar can basically play all of their songs, and the cherry on top is that they're really popular.

Who cares? It's better than 95% of the crap they put out today. I mean. I do like Pop music believe it or not. I like Lorde, I like Pink, I like Fun, I like Paramore(they're the exception to the next paragraph), I like Daughtry('s old stuff), I like Mackelmore, I like Daft Punk(I'm getting into them). But the charts are dominated by idiots and tbh, even if it is generic, it's still better than the other crap on the radio. They at least put thought into their crap.

And while I do like those artists(nickelback included. I'd never go to a concert, but some of those songs aren't half bad), they'll never beat out my 70s, 80s and 90s/ early 2000s music. My ACDC, Aerosmith, Avril Lavigne(before she sold out),Beatles, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Journey(I know one of the members personally. And while the music is sappy, is the music really bad? They're everyone's guilty pleasure band. If you don't know every word to don't stop believing something is seriously wrong with you), Matchbox 20, Nirvana(as overrated as I think they are, I like their stuff), Pat Benetar, and Zepplin(broke the alphabetical lol) etc. Will always dominate my iPod lol(again. Paramore is an exception... But with Hayley Williams can you blame me?).

If you're comparing nickel back to old bands, then yes, they do suck. Every band up there would blow them out of the water, but they're better than all the crap today lol. I'll take that.

The thing is that most people (including myself) group them in with the crap music of today like Miley, Chris Brown, etc. even though they're not in the same genre. But Im not here to bash anyones music taste or tell then what or what not to listen too. Every genre has their good bands and bad. Bands like Arctic Monkeys, The Shins, The Black Keys, and Justin Timberlake (say what you will about him but he makes good music), are all good musicians that find ways to get on the radio. The majority of what qualifies for "good music" will never be on the radio anyway.

I like JT lol. Very talented. Sad thing about the radio is that it's run by teenage girls.

In other news, the acoustic version of Sister Christian(my second favorite song ever) is every bit as awesome as the original... Which is rare for an acoustic song.

I don't understand Iggy Azalea. Her music lacks any redeeming value, yet it's blowing up. Of course I said the same thing about Nicki Minaj. That's a hard one to call, which one of those two is worse.

It's because she's alright looking and the majority of people this generation don't care for lyrics

Agreed.

Also, one of the most out there, I cant even find words to describe them, bands have broken up. RIP Death Grips.. Seriously go look them up if you havent heard of them, they have an insane track record of crazy antics. They'll be legends now, guarantee it.

10$ Jimmy Page

8$ Robert Plant

4$ Eric Clapton

2$ Paul McCartney

1$ Ginger Baker

Wish I could add Bonhan but the guitarists would be crazy. Have to pay the $10 on Page though, it's a must. Could've easily took Morrison over Plant and Baker to get Bonhan.

Why did they have to turn into such softcore corporate sellouts?  Meteora is so good, but they've been so bad since then.  I have a hard time picking my favorite track off of that album.

I feel you man, it sucks. I can't even give their new stuff a fair try. Same here. If I had to pick one it would be Somewhere I Belong.

Recently discovered rapper Doe B and I think his music is great.  Such a shame that his was killed last year.  I think he could have been the next big thing in rap music.
