Glad to see there's another CJ Fly fan here. Chance and Joey get a lot of love but I really believe CJ's "Thee Way Eye See It" was one of last year's best mixtapes.

Pro Era have the best eye for young talent but the production is hit and miss for me, I salute to the 90s but they need to move out of the past.

I'm just moving on man, tired of Kendrick and Duck Down. Even Freddie Gibbs new s all sounds the same.

They do get a bit bogged down in 90s-style beats. They seem to be transitioning to other stuff, based on The Shift EP. We'll see what Joey and STEEZ's albums are like. 

 

Duck Down records? I thought Pinata was really good. Nice change from the ESGN sound.

I don't understand Iggy Azalea.  Her music lacks any redeeming value, yet it's blowing up.  Of course I said the same thing about Nicki Minaj.  That's a hard one to call, which one of those two is worse.
