Man, it's just something about that guitar in the opening of "Ten Years Gone" that gives me chills.

Jimmy Page is the best ever IMO.

Ac/dc new disc in 2014?

new tour?

rumors.....

One can only hope. I caught them on the Black Ice tour to make sure I didn't miss out on seeing them live, in case they were done.

(Gater 98.7) - How’s this for a Valentine’s Day surprise?  The Gater 98.7's Andy Preston, in Palm Beach, got a call from AC/DC’s Brian Johnson!

He was in town for the Palm Beach Grand Prix that’s happening this weekend at Palm Beach International Raceway! Get more info here.

Brian is actually going to be doing some racing this weekend.  He shared some great racing stories with Andy.

He also ventured briefly into the music territory and I’m glad we did (at around the 6 minute mark below).

Andy asked Brian if there is anything planned for him and the band in 2014, and he said “You'll be the first one to know really....I think we’ll be going into the studio in May in Vancouver.”

He also added that since the band has been around for 40 years, he thinks they “are going to try to do 40 gigs to thank the fans for their undying loyalty!”  He said it’s been 4 years (since they toured) and he’s really looking forward to it.

ACDC live is one of the coolest / most dangerous shows ever from what I hear lol

I didn't think it was dangerous, their tickets are expensive and most of their fan base is older now so there isn't a lot of riff raff.  I certainly didn't feel like I was in danger when I went, and there weren't the kind of odd characters you get at some concerts.  Plus the floor of the arena was chairs, and any show like that isn't even chaotic.

But their show is really really cool.  It's kinda short, they only go for about two hours (compared to Bon Jovi who played for almost 4 hours when I went to see them), but it's so worth it.  They have a ton of awesome props, like a big train for Rock N' Roll Train (since it was the Black Ice Tour), the giant bell for Hell's Bells, and they have this gigantic voluptuous blow-up woman for Whole Lotta Rosie.  Brian Johnson swings on the bell rope is I remember right.  Angus strips in the middle of The Jack.  They had a huge projection of the stage into the middle of the crowd, and I was right next to it a few rows back so when Brian Johnson and Angus Young came down I was like 3 feet away from them.  The part that rose up into the air was right next to me.  It was really amazing, I'm so glad I got to see them.

Pink Floyd - Shine on you crazy diamond

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight

Led Zeppelin - Since I've been loving you

& a bunch of other Zeppelin live performance on YouTube. I'll never understand how they could play at the level they did, let alone function, with all the drugs they took.

45 Grave - Partytime

I probably hadn't heard that song in 20 years until it popped up on iTunes Radio.

I really like it. I feel like its definitely one of those albums you either love or hate though. You have to be open about new genres of music to get into it.
