Real question is... What happened?

Old stuff was good

Exactly.. That's the only reason I even gave this album a try.. Didn't like his last album either

He went in a completely soft direction when his voice is perfect for the fast paced harder style mainstream rock

Dangit I heard that he went all poppy.  I love his first album, that's another one like Fallen for me where I can sing all the songs.  I actually thought Leave This Town was the weak album, I liked a lot of songs on the third one.  Renegade is a good song and Break the Spell is one of my favorites of his.  If it's that bad I'm glad I didn't buy it when I was at the store the other day.

Second album had a few good songs. Ghost in Me, No Suprise. Was disappointing. Third album outside of crawling back to you(which still wasn't great), utterly and totally sucked.

That first album was awesome though. So many good songs.

He was the opening act for Bon Jovi when I saw them, it was AWESOME.  I got to listen to most of his first album and then Bon Jovi played for like 4 hours.

SAM you crazy, Break the Spell is a great song.  And Crashed might be my favorite song on the first album.

In honor of it returning to the charts, Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi

Then afterwards, Let me go- Avril Lavign and Chad Kroeger.

Not the biggest fan of either of those two, but it's actually a decent song

TKO.  I think it's the spiritual successor to Cry Me a River and What Goes Around... / ...Comes Around.  I was worried JT was done making good stuff like this when I heard part 1 of his album, which I wasn't a fan of, but part 2 is much much better.  He has good accompanying videos too.

Garth Brooks live special is on right now.  He's annoying me because he's only playing little snippets of songs and moving on, and it's not really a concert of his music, but it's a pretty enjoyable Vegas show.  It's cool to see illustrated, by directly building to it, how his influences built up to his songs.

Yes, I like some country too.

Led Zeppelin II, anyone? Always seem to forget how incredible this album is. Honestly, Led Zeppelin's first four albums could be the top four rock albums of all time, though Led Zeppelin IV is number one.

I always feel like less of a Zeppelin fan when their albums are brought up.  I don't like their album filler, but I'm a huge fan of most of their hits.  Well, their rock hits.  I don't like most of their lighter stuff, but I like their blues stuff.  Looking at everything they did, they're really a diverse band stylistically.  II is the second best album, but the only songs I really like are Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker, and Living Loving Maid.  A very occasional play of Ramble On is alright.  I think the problem with them is they're such a hippie band, they just happened to rock out on occasion.  The album filler is mostly that hippie floaty nonsense.

Hell yeah man! "Bring it on home" is probably my favorite blues jam.

The massive Vine binge has gotten some songs stuck in my head, one in particular is a song by YG that I will never be allowed to sing.  But it's so catchy, despite it's juvenility.
