Missing defensive players?

Can anyone tell me why Spears isn't mentioned very much?  I hear he is a beast but I just keep hearing about Canty.  Asa Jackson seems to have disappeared too?

he's clearly not a beast if he isn't getting any media attention. He has to earn it with his pads

Spears is a grinder. He's one of those players you won't hear much about, but his impact will be felt. Run stuffers just don't get attention compared to pass rushers. Add to it that Canty is 6'7", and has big game experience, and that is why Canty is getting much more interest than Spears is. Heck, even in Dallas, Spears was more behind the scenes than in the limelight.

Spears is a good rotational player, but I don't think he's any more than that.

I'm guessing Jax will get some return opportunities. If he stays healthy, hard not to expect to see him on the field given the number of corners we have on the roster.
