2013 NCAA Football Season

Johnny Football's 1/2 game "suspension" is an absolute JOKE... Dez Bryant was suspended a year for lying about a dinner with Deion Sanders that was NOT an NCAA rules violation! Double standard much? I cannot stand the NCAA.

That being said, I still love college football.

Can't wait to see Clowney tonight.

I have to like South Carolina to win the SEC - if not SCAR, then Missouri, for the Tigers are always interesting.

Over in the Big Ten, I have to like Wisconsin, followed by Michigan, although I am willing to give Maryland a decent chance here.

Out in the Pac-12, I'll be saying "Fight On!" for Southern California to do somewhat of a good work this season.

As for the rest of the conferences, I'll try to think over those and come back with a decent response.

I'll tell you what though in all seriousness, that was the best thing to happen that could show them, by them I mean the NCAA, that they don't have their act together. We are so stupid that we just suspended a guy for 30 mins of regulation. Yeah right, like they would actually pause for reflection and call themselves on their nonsense.

It also shows that they don't like picking on people that can put up a fight. This is clearly an issue of class. They didn't have to fear a potential lawsuit from a Dez Bryant or anyone else who's come from a less affluent background in the past. Manziel's lawyer was holdin' court since day one putting them on alert not to try any foolishness and he came through big time.

The best point made referenced the fact that the picture listed here: http://www.aggieathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=27300&ATCLID=209242479, included a link for purchase. It appears that link has since been removed

Anyone else watching Vandy vs. Ole Miss--Jordan Matthews is looking like a beast at WR

Also only saw a half of the South Carolina vs. North Carolina game but Clowney needs to get in gameshape he was just winded all second half and James Hurst handled him pretty well because of it

Jordan Matthews showed he has some speed to go with his size on that TD (although that was a great block). He might end up a top 10 pick before all is said and done with this draft if he keeps up what he has been doing so far. But hopefully he drops to us because we could really use a guy like that to take the double team.

Its always a possibility he has great hands and I was surprised by how quick he has looked and the long speed he possesses. Very well rounded player and looks to be the player that makes Vandy click so far

Not that it was against a big time team, but my Delaware Blue Hens put on a rushing clinic tonight in a 51-35 win.  Watch out for some line prospects that could sneak up the boards from this school in the coming years.  3 backs over 85 yards, and all 7 players that had rushing attempts averaged over 5 ypc.

I was surprised North Carolina's offensive line held up against Clowney.

They barely had to do anything.  He could barely even get into his stance before plays.  He spent a bunch of the game on the sideline.  I guess being the greatest player on the planet excuses you from actually working out and getting in shape.

Maybe a little rusty, but if he keeps it up for the entire season, bye bye BPA on every Draft Board.

Clowney......mighty unimpressive!! gave very little effort

Yeah that's my biggest complaint about him. He could be just bored out there because of the competition but I dislike seeing guys not try as hard. Keep in mind Ngata had the same issue.

I thought I heard he was sick this week on SportsCenter.

That could be but I've seen him do that a lot even last year. He's taken plays off even dating back to last year. I feel like he's ready to declare but he's playing because of stupid rules. He looks bored to me and I feel like he's just taking plays off as a result

Can't blame him for that. I wouldn't mind him sucking it up this year Burfict style so he falls into range.

Not going to happen. He may suck all college football season but he'll regain his number one overall pick selection with the workouts before the Draft. I don't think it would hurt him at all.
