Les Miles made me so angry leaving Mettenberger in on that last down. Seriously, was he possessed by the Redskins team doctor who cleared RG3 last season? That was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. I know it's football and people can always get hurt, but punt the football. 4th & 28, 2 minutes to go, down by 3 TD's and their offensive line just gave up 2 sacks in a row. And he doesn't even pay any attention to him when he barely limps off the field. I don't think Mettenberger is a smart QB though. There were 3-4 passes that easily could've been intercepted. Still think Les Miles was horrible for leaving him in like that instead of punting. There's pride and then there's stupidity.

I shook my head every time. Verne Lundquist and the other guy are dorks though.

 

Did you see the first play after the 82 yard kickoff return that put LSU on 'Bama's 20? Vintage Cam. Dial's up a run which lost yards.

 

Then 2 incomplete pass plays. They go for it on 4th on a typical Cam pass play where everybody runs a go route for 20 yards...no crossing or curl routes, or slants. Just everybody run to the endzone

We almost lost to ISU and came out and destroyed OU the next week. OKST lost to WVU already as well. None of that matters.

The way were playing without our QB, star LB, star RB, and best DT is awesome.

Wow, STA and BAY are still ranked below OSU, despite them both crushing Top 10 teams!

Unfortunately for the #3 team, Stanford has a much juicier schedule, playing ranked opponents the rest of the way: USC, CAL & N. Dame.

BAY plays #12 OK S. and #24 Texas.

None of OHS' remaining opponents are ranked.

Unfortunately the reality of not having our starting qb and three of our other top 5 players kicked in yesterday. Case Mccoy went back to playing like Case Mccoy.

 

At least this guarantees that Mack will be gone and we got to see some Tyrone Swoooooooooooooopes

I know there's rain issues and whatnot, but this looks like another scattershot day for Manziel.  He does not throw the ball with consistent accuracy.  His last pass to Mike Evans, a big target as you might know, was off by A LOT and it could have gone for a TD if he threw it better there.  Evans was wide open by at least 3 yards.

Florida is losing to Georgia Southern 20-10.  This could be a very embarrassing loss to the Gators, although trailing to them is embarrassing enough.

 

Sure enough.  0 passing yards and Georgia Southern still beat the Gators 26-20.  They were apparently 4 TD underdogs.
