Or his system works in college.  You don't need to use varied route concepts to get people open, and LSU has a decent OL and a very effective run game.  As long as you can consistently run the ball, his offense can function.

 

That's true as well. The roster works for his scheme. I was just pointing out that he did call a balanced game. I think I saw that at half time, he had 17 runs and 17 passes. Balance was something he didn't do well here.

I will give him credit, he does seem to have gotten Mettenberger to develop.

Breaking News: USC fires Lane Kiffin!

 

 

Kiffin was pulled off the team bus in a parking lot at Los Angeles International Airport by Haden for a brief meeting with the AD and several other school administrators and was told he was fired, the Daily News reported.

Stanford is ranked WAY too high, at #5.  Blowing out San Jose St, Army, AZS & WAS St is like stealing candy from a baby compared to what some of the teams just behind them have done.

Glad to hear UMD just landed another 4 star prospect. Hopefully they can build a program.

 

Their game on Saturday against FLA State will be nationally televised!

Alabama's schedule is criminally easy.  They just won their 2nd straight BCS Bowl & they're facing the likes of Chattanooga & Kentucky?!  No Gerogia?

HaHa Clinton-Dix has been suspended indefinitely by Alabama for a violation of team rules.

He received money from a coach apparently.  Nothing bad in terms of evaluation, he should still be an early round pick.  In the long run this might be better for him.  Saban beats the crap out of his players, that's why Lacy and a lot of other Bama guys got drafted later than they were projected to.
