Plus recruiting would be even easier at Texas. You can pretty much do nothing and have the best class. It just illustrates that Mack Brown is a really bad coach. On top of that, the Big (not) 12 is a bad conference, so he would basically be guaranteed a spot in the playoffs every year.

Or his system works in college.  You don't need to use varied route concepts to get people open, and LSU has a decent OL and a very effective run game.  As long as you can consistently run the ball, his offense can function.
