Eric Maynor to the Wizards on a multi year deal. Solid little acquisition for them.

great pickup imo

Wait and see what the deal is worth though

Heard it's two years

Chris Paul signs 5 year $107M contract

Grade: A

Do I really need to explain this? Best point guard in the NBA hands down.

I didn't like the deal they gave Blake but CP3 is worth it

Nothing surprising here.

Bulls sign Mike Dunleavy two years $6M

Grade: A-

One of the top shooters available is signed to replace Kyle Korver and for cheaper. His numbers dipped a little last year but he still shot the ball well and his ability to space the floor will benefit D-Rose

You can't replace the Korvster.

True but compare his contract to Korver's 3 year 15 million bulls gave him

Eric Maynor signs with Wizards for 2 years/2.65 million per year

Grade: A

Really like this deal for Wizards. Maynor showed a ton of promise on OKC and the rotation became mainly Maynor at PG and Westbrook at SG when the Thunder were playing there best. He tore his ACL but came back strong for Portland last year. Wizards need a backup PG for Wall and Maynor does more than fit the bill. He's young and consistent as well

Kyle Korver's a Bull now?

No, I was referring to the contract he got three years ago

Nets re-sign Andray Blatche, one year $1.4M

Grade: A-

I have never liked Blatche but I can't knock this deal. Nets were cap strapped and Blatche is coming off a good year for the Nets. He'll provide quality depth behind KG and Lopez. Quite a bargain

looks like Tyreke Evans is about to go to Pelicans for 4 years 40-50 million

They already have Eric Gordon, Greivis Vasquez and Jrue Holiday

Isn't Evans a RFA? So any offer made by another team would first need to be matched-not-matched by the Kings before he would go anywhere

Yes but I doubt they match that, we'll see

I wouldn't be surprised if they pull a Eric Gordon and work out a trade so that they at least get something for him.

Pacers extend David West, 3 years $36M
Grade: B
Seems too pricy for David West but extending him was a big priority as he was great for them last year

Bulls resign Nazr Mohamed 1 year vet min
Grade: B-
No financial risk but Nazr wasn't very good. He'll be insurance for Noah

Wizards re-sign Martell Webtser, 4 years $22M
Grade: B
After being a knucklehead in the NBA for years Webster finally showed signs of maturity last year and became the Wizards number one priority in FA

Bledsoe and Butler to the Suns,
Dudley and Reddick to the Clippers,
2 2nd rounders to the Bucks.

Good trade all around I guess. I always thought they could've got more for Bledsoe though.

Three Team Trade!!
Suns get: Eric Bledsoe, Caron Butler
Grade: A
Bledsoe has a ton of potential and is very talented. Something the suns need. The suns may have just landed their franchise point guard. Butler on the other hand is a solid player and may even end up starting. But best of all he is playing on an expiring contract.
Clippers: JJ Reddick and Jared Dudley
Grade: B+
Clippers needed to give Bledsoe a fair opportunity and in return they got a great shooter at a position they had a need in who happens to be a good scorer an teammate as well. Dudley may be even an upgrade over Butler. However, the Clippers weren't able to gather draft picks for their talented youngster
Bucks get: 2 second round picks
Grade: D+
Two second round picks doesn't really return the favor for the player Reddick was

Timberwolves re-sign Chase Budinger, three years $16 million
Grade: B
The wolves were the worst three point shooting team in NBA history last year and Budinger is good at that. He'll space the floor and create opportunities for Love and Rubio

Clippers sign JJ Redick 4 years $27M
Grade: B
Seems expensive but he'll be a huge asset to the team in terms of scoring and spacing the floor for CP3
