Serious J Smith to Boston/Detorit rumors.

I don't think either team will end up offering him the max. Should be very interesting.

Worth noting that Rondo and Smith have been teammates since their high school days.

Since you're a rockets fan, what's up with Royce white? Is he ever gonna play, What's his progress with that disorder he has?

That's the guy with the anxiety disorder?

Smh, what a shame. I'm rooting for him though. I just could never understand this about him. If you're scared to fly on a plane, why persue the NBA? Also did GM's know that before the draft? If so, why draft him?

He lied his ass of in the interviews before the draft, then he refused to come to work even though the Rockets did everything to make it work.  Setting things up so he could take the bus etc with the Vipers. But to no avail. He quit over and over. The FO tried to void his contract and look for some kind compensation from the NBA since they wasted a pick on him and he refused to come to work, but since it's a psychological disorder it won't be allowed. He pursued it for the money I guess. I understand he has a disorder, but the stories I've heard about him has made me really fed up. I just want him gone.

Andrea Bargnani Trade:

Knicks get: Andrea Bargnani (due 23 million over next two years)

Grade for Knicks: C-, Bargs is a good scorer and has shown some nice flashes but he fell out of favor in Toronto and doesn't provide defense or toughness, plus he's overpaid. The Knicks also gave up a first.

Toronto Gets: Marcus Camby, Steve Novak, future first round pick, two future second round picks

Grade for Toronto: A, loaded off his contract picked up some picks and got a valuable player in Steve N who should fit well

I'd give the Knicks a C+. He has potential still.

Don't like the trade for NY. And if they're really gonna try to get Ellis I would hate that move just as much, probably more.

I'd give the Knicks an F+ and the Raptors a B-

why the B- for toronto? How much do u think they could have gotten for Bargs?

This one is from yesterday but:

Rockets get: two second round picks

Blazers get: Thomas Robinson

Grade for Rockets: C- (for now) , Robinson has potential and he's very talented but they had to create room for Dwight

Grade for Blazers: A-, two second round picks is a bargain for a top 5 pick just last year

If they get Dwight the grade should change from a C- to a B+ IMO

CJ Watson signs w/ Pacers 2 years 2 million

Grade: A

This is a steal. Watson is a key energy spark off the bench and a big upgrade over what DJ Agustin was last year

The fact that they are stuck with Novak and Camby for a while knocked their grade down.

Raptors needed a sharpshooter but not w/ Novak's contract, good point

looks like Tyreke Evans is about to go to Pelicans for 4 years 40-50 million

They already have Eric Gordon, Greivis Vasquez and Jrue Holiday

I'm very confused by the team they're building...

ikr I'll do the grade when the exact details are announced but it most likely won't be very good

Maybe the want a starting lineup featuring four guards

I'd take Vasquez over Gordon any day. He's more versatile, healthier, and younger. Anyways, I don't like paying that much for that role for Tyreke.

Agreed, not to mention Vasquez is about 10 million dollars cheaper per year

11 million a year to come off the bench makes little sense

I also didn't like the Holiday trade for them, Holiday is great and all but I like Vaquez and Noel and Davis would have been fun to watch

At least they got a first in next years stacked draft

I would have liked Holiday more if they planned on making a move for another big man to replace Noel rather than Tyreke...
