Knicks to acquire Andre Barganani for Camby, Novak, and a pick

Not a bad move for the knicks, but they still have a lot of work to do. Would like to see them go after Aldrige (altho Im a blazers fan) or someone else instead, but this gives the Knicks another option to pair with Melo and Amare. Still arent better than Brooklyn though.

Would be pretty sweet for Boston, they'd be capable of winning some games and probably finishing as a 3 or 4 seed. If they can manage to keep Green, Sully, and Bradley, and add some some good scoring pieces and a center, they would be pretty nice.

Is Olynyk still a Celtic, or did he get traded again?

1st round pick or 2nd?  And kudos to Novak for all he's done here!

Picks and trash for upgraded trash in other words.

Still a C

Good for them!  I didn't think it would be financially sound for them to chase Josh Smith, though.

Would be a S & T for sure

replaces JR Smith and gives them a forward that actually compliments rather than conflicts with Melo.

Like I said, trash replaces trash. A seven footer that shoots 40% from the field and 30% from the field and is immune against grabbing rebounds. That's terrible. JR is a chucker with terrible shot selection, also trash. So...

Thomas Robinson traded to Portland for two second round picks and the rights to a couple of no-name foreign players.

Nice trade for the Blazers, and now Houston has the cap space to sign Howard to the max.

Good trade for both sides

Yup. Looked up this greek kid the Rockets got in the trade. Might be a player for the future. Garnered a lot of interest before this years draft too. A lot of teams wanted to trade for him, but the Blazers said no. Saw a highlight film, (even though anyone can look great there), he looks pretty athletic for a white guy lol, and has a nice looking shot. Never seen a game of him though, and I'm not having high hopes for him. But it looks like the Rockets are confident in landing Dwight.

Pretty sweet deal for Houston. Papanikolaou may be better than Robinson. Had a better year. His team won back to back EL titles

Yeah I like that trade for both teams.

I think it's a good fit for Robinson, and if Houston is about to sign Howard than that would be great for them.

Lin and Asik also on the block according to "sources".

Possible targets I can think of:

Clearing space or sign and trade for JSmoove.

Rajon Rondo maybe.

Or the biggest pipe dream, to convince Chris Paul to join Harden, Howard and Parsons in H-town.

BOS would trade their 1 remaining star, lol.

They are in rebuilding mode. Lin and Asik is nice assets, especially Asik. Wouldn't be a surprise at all if they throw in a pick or two.

HOU is going to look so stupid if they don't get Howard out of all this.

Because of what? Letting T-Rob go?

Don't think they will have any regrets.
Still a young up and coming team without Howard. This is something every team/gm should do when they are in the situation to go from being a good team to great team and land a superstar.

Not just him.  Delfino, Asik and Lin too.

They don't need to trade Asik and Lin to have room for Dwight.

Anyways.. Sure if they have traded T-Rob, Asik and Lin and let go of some players and are left hanging without Dwight it's a swing and miss. But they still have some young great players. And I bet any trade involving Asik would net a good player in return. So it's a risk you take to become great. And you may think it would make them look silly, but I say it shows ambition to become a contender, and the Rockets will have a young core with Harden, Parsons, Jones, D-mo, Beverly, Smith anyway. So it doesn't matter to much to me. Can't stand Lin anyways. Would love to trade him for someone like Calderon.

I don't think Howard is worth the money someone is going to throw at him.  He hasn't proved that he can come back from the back injury yet, he's never been fundamentally sound on offense, and he has one of the most destructive personalities in the league.  Nevertheless, Phil Jackson will apparently be part of the push to get him to re-sign with the Lakers, but if Dumbtoni is still the coach I doubt it will help.

Since you're a rockets fan, what's up with Royce white? Is he ever gonna play, What's his progress with that disorder he has?

Dwight is still the best Center in the NBA. His destructive personality aside.

Lol, Royce... That kid has so many problems. You should follow his twitter account. Funny and depressing at the same time. Will he ever play? I doubt it, atleast not for the Rockets. Nobody is going to get him off our hands, and they won't cut him so they just have to pick up his dead money. He's been quitting on and off for the Rio Grande Vipers this year. No news on any progress, just same ol', same ol'. I think he's done before it even got started.

Smh, what a shame. I'm rooting for him though. I just could never understand this about him. If you're scared to fly on a plane, why persue the NBA? Also did GM's know that before the draft? If so, why draft him?
