Dwight to Miami Dolphins. ...Gonna play TE.

Oh wait......what's that?....I'm getting word that he's 50/50 on ending this dwightmare tonight.

Where's Freddy Kruger when you need him?

It's over!!!! It's finally over, Howard to the Rockets, he came back to LA to tell Mitch he was leaving in person. Very respectful.

Now we get to see the retro Lakers with Kobe and Pau again.

What move do you guys think is better for each team?

Rockets getting Howard.
Or
Warriors getting Iguodala.

I love both moves but I like the Iggy signing better.
-It shouldn't take minutes away from Barnes. Who knows, might help him in the long run.

-Iggy immediately improves their defense. He's severely underrated defensively.

- They stole him from the nuggets. Made them weaker.

- If GS hits 3's like they did last year then Iggy should have no problem driving and kicking it out to team mates. He's a really good passer too, not LeBron level when he's driving (nobody is) but he's really freaking good.

And he's efficient.... A Point Forward.

Even if Smith goes to Houston I would still like GS's roster more....

The west is gonna be super competitive next year. As of now, OKC is still my favorite out the west. Then it's...
Spurs
Clippers
GS
Memphis
Houston
Denver
Lakers

Clippers are overrated bro.

Like I said earlier tho, if GSW gets Jack back, and gets another capable big man. They're my pick to win the West. If they can pull, say a Chris Kaman or someone decent, look out.

Hell, Kris Humphries in a sign and trade would be good too

Overrated with Doc Rivers? No.
Plus the acquisitions of Dudley and Reddick, while retaining Barnes. They brought in a great coach and some nice role plays without losing pretty much anything. I think they're serious contenders.

Have fun with that one.

He's arguably the best center in the league, if he can stay healthy.  But it's really unlikely that he's going to stay healthy.

And no matter the circumstances the Lakers still lose lol

Gotta respect Dirk for being true to Dallas. After all these years I don't think I've ever heard about him wanting to jump ship. He brings the players to him, not the other way around.

Depends on how much Bynum would get paid for me to like the potential move.

Damn Josh Smith to the Pistons ?

Must not care about championships lol. I'm reading that they don't have an exact number but apparently he was over paid.

Trade Gasol for a bunch of draft picks. Spend the next few years rebuilding if you ask me

I doubt they do that, my guess is they try to build around Gasol, Kobe and Nash for one more run and then reasses in 2014 through Free Agency. The Lakers rarely build through the draft unless they get a transcendent star like a Kobe, even Wilt, Shaq, Gasol, etc were all guys that started with another team before they came to the Lakers.

The new rules are going to make it more difficult to build through FA though.

True but not when you have virtually no one on the books beyond this year.

Might be a double edged sword.  I don't think Lebron will come without an established star already there.

Agreed. I don't think either Kobe or LeBron even wants to play with each other. LeBron will probably stay in Miami unless there's another team that can bring in a ton of role players for him, plus a co-star.

The free agent class in 2014 doesn't start and end with LeBron.

Yes it does.  Especially for CLE and MIA. :p

I don't think Kobe will be playing when his contract is up, he's said he only had another year or two left.  The Lakers would be foolish to give him a big deal anyway, as much as I like Kobe and as good as he's been for that team.

The Lakers will be able to offer at least two max contracts. They can make a pitch to LeBron and another FA. If they get say Melo, I think LeBron would have pretty good incentive to go play there.

In other news, Detroit is shaping up to be a contender. Solid young core in

Brandon Knight

Rodney Hudson/Committee

Josh Smith

Greg Monroe

Andre Drummond

I'd really like that team if I am a FA in 2014. Kobe?

He came to Miami with an agreement with Wade and Bosh to play together, he could do the same thing in LA.

Yes it does.  Especially for CLE and MIA. :p

Take a look, there are several guys that would make excellent building blocks whose name is not LeBron James.

Only problem is the spacing in the front court. I expect KCP to start also

But they wouldn't want to come to CLE.

Two guys to a max deal Eh?

I'll play this game then

Lakers need to look at the following FAs next season
John Wall
Kobe Bryant
Lebron James
Emeka Okafor

Notice one thing, only one of them is worth a max deal.
That still leaves them with a need at PF tho.....

Easy, do a sign and trade deal to the Magic(ironic right? Lol)

Gasol

For

Glen Davis

Some depth players

Good trade for both sides(if they can afford it. I don't have access to the trading machine right now)

Lakers get younger player capable of playing a great game in the paint, and good defense. Compliments Okafor well, will get you points in the paint. Not to mention, they can get sold bench players too.

Magic get skilled big man that compliments their new center very well. Magic become best rebounding team in the game

Excuse me if its a little unrealistic and all.

Personally, if I were the Lakers I wouldn't go that direction.

I'd resign Kobe

Go for Gortat and John Wall(if they could afford that)
