Philly is one of the absolute cities to live in. Well known fact. I'm glad that he's ok. Definitely a close call for our future star RB in about 5 years time.

So much for brotherly love unless we're talking coveting thy brother's goods.

Noooo-ooo-ooo-ooo.

Not sure who came up with that in the first place. But they boo Kobe Bryant when they host the All-Star game, throw snow balls at Santa, complain when they draft franchise QBs like Donavon F. McNabb, has to be at least the 3rd most segregated city in America behind 1 Detroit and 2 Chicago but that's just a guess.

Very happy he's ok.

Pretty sure the guys that carjacked him had no idea what LoJack is...

But how do you not make an arrest yet? The car didn't drive itself to the recovered location. What the heck! I would have thought that you go find the vehicle, and then wait for the perpetrators to come out and move it...What am I missing?

pitiful!  my wife and i just arrived back home to VA after spending this past weekend in Philly for a conference and our experience there was anything but "brotherly love." we won't be back any time soon.

I didn't think of that. You could be right. But that would defeat the whole purpose of carjacking somebody. You may as well give his car back to him after you take everything in his wallet. But then again, shame on me for thinking that criminals leverage logic.

Maybe those guys are used to carjacking people with removable stereos or something

Wow, Rice really is worried about losing carries to Pierce, huh?

Not a fan of Philly either. I assume he didn't have his ring on or something would've been mentioned about it right?

Haha I'm moving to Philly in the fall. Not worried at all though, everything people are saying here about Philly have been said many times about Baltimore, and I'm still in one piece after 24 years.

Glad he's okay. Crazy that this is the second time this has happened to a RB.

Much, much worse than Chicago.  Trust me.  I've spent a lot of time in both places.

I know that I feel fine living here in Philly, but there are some serious issues in this city.  We were on a record pace for murders earlier this year.  It's a real shame.  We're moving out of the city and buying a house in the suburbs soon after our child is born.

Is there some sort of conspiracy geared towards robbing our RBs this offseason?

Damien Berry might want to invest in a security system. ha ha

Bernards just got to realize that when you come from a rougher area, and go back after you've gotten successful in your sweet ride, people are going to get jealous. Not hating on Philadelphia, I was there briefly once, only downtown. You've just got to watch yourself when your a high profile NFL RB going back to places you used to be able to blend into as just another guy

While i was in Philly, i saw that record pace for murders being mentioned in the local news over and over and over.  i'm originally from New York so i definitely understand the negative attention that a congested city like Philly receives.  but this past weekend in Philly was ridiculous for me!  tons of people on the street begging made it nearly unbearable to just walk down the block to shop with my wife.  Our food service in both Chilis' and the Hard Rock cafe near 13th street and Market street were just horrible.  And the confusing interstate exits, directions and flow of traffic?  insane!  and, finally, there were those cats that were out at the famous "Rocky-steps" getting their hustle on by wanting to take pictures of people at the statue and the steps themselves for $1 or so.  maaan!  that was all i could take!  my wife and i got the hell out of Philly!  lol!

That's why you bullet proof the car and tint the windows when ya a celeb and making decent money.

Also be careful. You don't want an accident in the wrong neighborhood or a flat tire in the wrong neighborhood.

I would advise rich folks to not parade down the street in an area known for drugs/Violence/crime in general... Some people like to take what they don't already have.... By following Bernard on twitter, I realized he's a bit immature and not a class act like ray rice. Either way, doesn't excuse the punks that robbed him
