Not a fan of the Webster pick. He's been one of my favorite CBs for a long time but he declined badly last year and given his age he is unlikely to get back to his old self.

Wasn't really thinking straight there. I actually had another CB ranked way ahead of him that I just remembered, he totally slipped my mind. I kind of panicked when I saw Glover Quin got picked. I had him as a lock for this pick.

Floyd is a fantastic pick in my opinion and I would have taken him over Richardson as well as Williams personally.

 

Reed is certainly no longer what he was, but he is a veteran safety presence.

The guy allows at least 90% completion and 10 yards per reception. Also, he can't tackle either.

 

Webster had a brutal season last year, and the lack of pass rush didn't help either.

Floyd was hyped by the media.

 

He shows some good quickness and all, but he is not as elite of an athlete like Sheldon Richardson nor versatile as Datone Jones.

 

However, If Floyd sits a year or two to become an understudy of Kevin Williams, I think he might grow to be a solid player.

 

Richardson might be athletically gifted, but he does have off-the-field issues and a big mouth.

 

I love Datone Jones because he's a blue-collar guy and is willing to play every position despite his low weight. I think once he reaches 290 lbs, he can play as a one-gap NT to Wide-Nine DE.
