How can you remove a valid player from a fantasy draft? I didn't see any bellyaching when Aaron Rodgers was picked #1

You can't, and its not going to happen.

Football is a team sport while BB you need superstars to win. Bron can play all five positions and is the undisputed best player in the world

Okay vote on the Mbenga

Whoever has LeBron James must use one of their draft picks on DJ Mbenga. They can choose whenever to use the draft pick. If they don't use one of their picks on Mbenga they are disqualified and banned to be included next year. No other user may pick Mbenga.

Pros: It makes the game more fair for everyone

Cons: Mbenga would most likely be a non factor on the team
We need 11 votes

I think this is ridiculous lol

Obviously. See my post in the NBA thread BUT LeBron is a current, valid player.

The QQing over "he's too good" seems ridiculous.

You might as well just take away their last pick from them, which is also ridiculous

It makes more sense than banning lebron

This way he still has a full team with the best player in the world and a role player

so they can just use the 15th pick on Mbenga and you realize someone can get said person banned by taking Mbenga just to get him banned.

It has to be the next pick if anything and tbh this is pointless and not even worth the vote.

This isn't the nba where a thrifty owner and poor talent evaluators will be enough to detract from LeBron. Almost any idiot can put together a decent supporting cast around LeBron with no restrictions. No team will be able to put multiple superstars together as a counter. Therefore whoever has LeBron in all honesty will most likely have the best team barring a colossal screw up.

This isn't like the nfl where having one good player doesn't necessarily = a good team. In the nba if you have a superstar you are most likely a playoff team. Perfect example. Hornets and Magic with Paul and Howard vs Hornets and Magic without them.

No one else can take Mbenga the pick wouldn't count

This is getting, surprisingly, even more stupid by the second. I don't know how hard it is to comprehend that they are keeping LeBron in the draft, and that further argument against doing so is just pointless whining, but evidently its as hard as understanding the mystery of life itself. Next we'll be saying the person who drafts LeBron doesn't get any more picks until the 6th round as he accounts for all 5 positions by himself. How ridiculously pathetic.

Please take my name out of this mess before it gets even worse than it already is.

I'm ok with Keeping Bron in.

To tell you the truth. I would rather do this in the way we did the forum mock, where we pick a team. But that would be even worse smh

Oh noes, one team will be better than the rest in a made-up fantasy draft! That's the luck of the draw. It's just a game, guys.

This ^

In all seriousness none of us would complain if we were the guy that got the first pick to take LeBron, we're just screwing around otherwise. We all have an equal shot at getting the 1st pick so we all have an equal shot at the "advantage" of getting LeBron, we still need to make smart choices to build up the rest of the team. LeBron may be able to play "all 5 positions" but he can't do it at the same time so the other 4 guys have to be decent or it will be Cleveland all over again.

Keep LeBron in the draft, standard snake order, let the chips fall where they may.

/debate

I shall participate and pray very hard to get LeBron.

If you get LeBron, you must sacrifice 10 years of your life!! You must pay... in blood!

I don't understand all the fuss. We already decided lebron is in, if you dont like it don't play

For this to be done right, LeBron has to be in.

Then his contract in the NBA would be void...

we could go with ten rounds if people feel more comfortable and decide upon the last five rounds as we go along
