personally feel like the premise of this is rather unfair, and compared to football vastly worse but enjoy it (obv #1 pick is obv and a tremendous advantage obv)

How so? (Unfairness wise)

What would start date have to with increased number of teams? Just curious?

Well seeing as the Finals could over tonight or in a few days we may need more time to get enough teams if we choose to increase it from 15 as has been suggested.

Oh, ok. That makes sense.

LeBron is probably the equivalent of 2 superstars so whoever ends up with him has a tremendous advantage to begin with. They will likely be able to put either another superstar or competent base around with their remaining picks which basically means whoever gets LeBron is going to have the best team (barring a colossal barrage of terribad picks). Its not like in football where the guy who gets A-rod might not have the best team. The guy who gets LeBron is basically all but assured because he is so dominant

Edit: My 2cents. Ban LeBron from the game to make it more interesting.

A Shabazz fan? I think he has really high bust potential tbh

I'm a UCLA fan.

He'll be a damn good scorer, but a terrible defender.

Fair enough.

That would definitely shake things up...

Interesting idea to ban Lebron. Would most support that?

My only problem with that is where does it end?

Once Lebron is gone, KD instantly becomes extremely dominant

I personally think it would intensify skill in team building and the degree of difficulty.

Yeah that's why he has one ring in 10 years
This is why he is the most overrated SF of all time

KD would be the clear number 2 but I don't think the margin between him and the next best player is quite as large. KD does have some holes in his game.

not really. KD becomes what he always has been. A scorer. He's not extremely gifted defensively or as a passer. He becomes a perimeter/mid range scorer. Tbh I wouldnt take him first overall if it were my pick.

In a snake draft where he is guaranteed solid teammates assuming the picks aren't as Sizzle said "a collossal barrage of terribad", yes it does.

I'll prob get Carmelo and be satisfied lol

I would actually take Melo #2 overall just behind Paul. Melo is just unbelievably versatile offensively.
