Any idea why he decided not to pick?

He's deciding between players and he told me
"I don't want to ____ this up"
Injuries really concern him, otherwise his pick would've been in immediately

So Derrick Rose and...?

No
These players aren't as obvious
but they are very injury prone
Both are PGs

It's definitely Westbrook and Curry then. Both would be solid picks if you want to build around a scoring PG.

Irving? Wall? There are so many good young PGs in the NBA right now

Yep

I'd never take Irving. Then again that's probably because I hate Duke. But also, John Wall > Kyrie Irving

I would say your childish and immature but I guess that's what people your age are

Yeah I'm the childish one. Keep telling yourself that.

I agree with the last part 100%

John Wall over Kyrie Irving? Really? Other than hating Duke, what's the reasoning behind that?

Wall has a much better overall game. Irving is the better scorer but he isn't a great defender and doesn't make his teammates better like Wall does. That is what you want from a PG. Wall is a better passer and is also arguably the best athlete in the NBA not named Lebron James. The difference in scoring doesn't make up the difference in the rest of their games enough for Irving to match Wall's value to a team.

Irving is a terrible defender, I agree on that. But I wouldn't call Wall a good defender either. Wall has absolutely no jump shot at all, he relies on athleticism alone. He frankly hasn't shown me anything but glimpses.  Making his teammates better? He hasn't elevated the Wizards at all. I'm not high on Wall at all, and is confident Irving will be the much better player. Only time will tell, but this is something I feel pretty confident making a prediction about.

The Wizards before Wall's return: 5-28, worst in the NBA

The Wizards after Wall's return: 24-21, 4th best in the East

If that isn't elevating them idk what is. That isn't even mentioning the astronomical improvement Bradley Beal made with Wall on the court. He went from looking like a possible bust to a possible star. You need to check out more of Wall. His shot is coming around and he was probably one of the 10 best players in the league when healthy this year.

It's debatable but I think he makes the cut. Once he shook of the rust look at what he averaged over his last 20 or so games: 24.3 PPG, 8.3 APG, 5.0 RPG, 47-37-79 splits. I don't think there are 10 players with better numbers than that plus that doesn't include the fact that the Wizards went from the worst team in the NBA to the 4th best in the East when he came back.

Well, sure they improved when Wall came back from injury, teams usually do that when their best player get's back. But they are still irrelevant. And I haven't seen the improvement in Wall as you claim you have. I found Wall extremely exciting when he came into the league. Raw, but fast, explosive and fun to watch. He still is, and he still is a great talent. I'm not bashing on him to claim he's bad, or never will be really good. But we are comparing him to Irving here. When it comes to his jump shot, I have seen slim to no improvement, his decision making is not very good even though he can rack up the assist. He plays to wild and out of control imo. And his defense is still not very good. He had a good stretch at the end of the season, but when comparing him to Irving the gap is pretty significant imo.

That's his shot chart, and based on that, I can't really see how he has gotten better with it.

Like I said though, they are both really young, so we'll just agree to disagree and let time show.

Btw, thanks for being the only one who stood up for my Harden pick. Lol

The only reason I didn't like the pick is because of the many jokes I could make bc of him
