I knew the Harden pick would be somewhat controversial. 

Maybe I'm a bit of a homer, but again we are building a team, I would like my foundation to be a young star player that I will have for 10 years, not one I have for three.

Harden is only 23, averaging 25 points, on a team with some very good role players, but no other all stars. He took them to the playoffs and has emerged as a great player. This in not the good old 90's where you build from the inside-out with great post players, they are lacking. This is a perimeter driven league now. Harden has all the tools, great range, good ability to drive and that someone said he can't create for others, or make others better. That's complete bull. As a Rocket fan, I simply know that that's not true. He still also has great room for improvement. He gets a lot of steals, but is not a very good defender, he can improve in that department. Also cut down on his turnovers, but again, he's only 23.

With Kobe's injury/age, and Wade's breaking down fast he will be the best SG in the game for years.

Paul and Carmelo are better players as of right now, but when factoring age, Harden was the obvious pick imo.

Amen. Add to it that I work at my college that I attend, while also holding down a job at a retail store, and it gets busy.

speaking as an outsider of this draft I don't see why it should take long to make a pick if your on......,,I agree with the people who are being accused of being impatient.

 

its like if your in line at starbucks and the guy in front of you is just standing there thinking about what to pick even though he had a long time to figure it out before he got to the counter......its a little rude to keep people waiting needlessly

but some might have doubts about the right choice - it's a 24 hours limit to give a fair chance to everyone

this just started so some of the guys (me included) have not yet made a plan (like Sizz always does lol)

in my opinion the 24 hour time limit is more to allow people to realize they are on if they are understandably doing other things(work,school) but I think you should take no more than 30 minutes if you are here......especially the first round

 

now maybe that's just how I was raised, but I feel the utmost importance should always be placed on not inconveniencing other people when it is in your power not to...

I agree life outside takes precedence...but for example why has poe not picked yet.....he was on for a long time talking to people on messenger and commenting on things in this very Thread......and still he signed off without picking.....he had ample time to decide who to pick but instead decided to hold everything up for no reason.
