Ravens release then re-sign FB Vonta Leach

I still think Leach is on the radar, and will likely return. I also think that Shiancoe rumor comes to fruition, although I think I'd rather have Dallas Clark.

No question he's on the radar. After what you said about Juszczyk blocking I may have been wrong about Leach. I would rather have a blocking TE though who can catch but I can't deny how good Leach is.

From the little I've seen of Juice in the training camp videos he certainly looks like a better receiver than blocker. With Pitta's injury I am more open to bring Leach back and using Juice more like a TE and in the slot.

I think with the devastating blow to our offense, it is going to be that much more imperative that we re-sign Leach. Something that I have always been lobbying for. And, when the news first came out about about Pitta, I knew we also needed another pass catcher to complement Torrey and give Flacco the weapons he needs to be successful.

Leach wants to win and continue to get paid well above veteran minimum, then he should resigned with us sooner, but then I believe he is signing just after Training Camp to skip all the OTAs and some portions of TC. Could be a good idea, but then Ozzie might lower the offer since the market isn't out there for Leach.

Anyone could say that, I might do the same lol.  I would go in after the first pre-season game, which would be half way through TC.  If you skip it altogether you'll be so out of football shape that come week 3 you'll get cut.
