Seeing complaints about running in the next gen consoles kind of surprised since I've had no issues with it...

Rumor has it that 2k might be trying to get back in the game, since EA's contract ends after this season I believe.  If there was an NFL 2k15 I would be so happy.

 

I heard the same thing and I hope so.  Madden has cornered the market and just keeps putting out a prettier looking watered down version of itself over and over again year after year.  2K is king!  It needs to come back and reclaim its football gaming throne.

Just made won the Super Bowl after making the playoffs on a 7-9 regular season record and then I failed to score a single offensive touchdown in the entire postseason. 3 straight shut outs including the Super Bowl. Postseason scores were 6-3, 9-0, 24-0, 3-0. My defensive dynasty is finally coming together. Although it did cost me any chance of having an even mediocre offense.

It took awhile to be able to lol. I can't play offense on all madden though so I built my team off a dominant defense to try and work around that lol. My starting QB is the almighty Mike Glennon and with weapons like Mike James, Trindon Holiday, Brian Quick, and Kyle J idk how my offense isn't thriving lol.

Oh it was. I broke various rushing records a few times running the option with Tebow, AP, and Gerhart. 

 

I knew I was limited at QB, and I like to run the ball anyway so I traded Cassel for a pick, signed Tebow, and just ran good old running football. When I had to pass, I used screens and timing routes. If you throw a slant, post, out, in, or what have you right when the receiver breaks, it's almost always a catch and run. Good things happen when you run west coast passing, especially with Patterson and Jennings. I also tried to minimize turnovers and maximize TOP to make up for my deficiencies.

I play on All-Madden but the scores are way higher.  I can't seem to stop the All-Madden running.  But I score a lot of points and win.

Just total opposite lol, couldn't score touchdowns on offense if my life depended on it. But stopping their offense is 1/3 forcing turnovers, 1/3 getting pressure on the QB, and 1/3 limiting the run. My defense is perfect for that. My DL is Watt, Greg Hardy, Suh, and Chandler Jones. My LBers are Bobby Wagner, KJ Wright, and Mychal Kendricks. My CBs are Chris Harris, David Amerson, and Patrick Peterson. My Safeties are Matt Elam and Earl Thomas.

Keep in mind this is 3 seasons in so almost all of these players are significantly better than they already were. I worked to make my LBers great tacklers with superb Coverage abilities. DL I worked on Block shedding, Awareness, Tackling, and Speed. For my CBs I worked on Press, Man, Catching and Tackling. My Safeties I worked on zone, man, awareness, play rec, and tackling.

I usually work out of a basic 2 man under setup and just change it up to how I want it pre-play based on want I want to do. I also usually work with Elam to either provide an extra body on their top WR/TE or watch for scrambles/runs. It's pretty effective.

I also have like no high draft picks lol since I had to trade for a few guys for my defense.

I drafted a WR that had 98 speed but 65 agility and 75 acceleration. In the same class I drafted a 320 pound guard with 75 speed, 90 acceleration, and 85 agility, but just 70 strength. I don't get it.

Yeah it's pretty bad and I still don't get how some players aren't superstar development in and out of draft classes. Like Patrick Peterson or Keuchly (slow I believe which is even worse).

The way they generate attributes really doesn't make a lot of sense.

Today I made a new franchise to make an elite defense(like yours.)  Im already 1st defense but a (31 offense.)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           What system do you play on it would be cool to play with you.

PS4 usually but my brother took is borrowing it for a bit to determine if he wants to get one so currently I'm working with a ps3 that I have like 3 games for lol.

Anyone else creating rookies in Madden 25? I have the whole first round done, got the Ravens first three picks and got Paul Richardson in as a Seahawk. Will work on the rest of round 2 later this week. Man does EA need to open up the character limit in creating players. Since they don't let you use hyphens, I tried to spell Clinton-Dix as Clinton Dix but there was no room for a space. So now he is Ha'Sean ClintonDix. Put in Bridgewater and now in Madden 25 he is Teddy Bridgewate, one letter short!

I haven't actually played Madden 25 in a while since I been working a lot. I just started making the players since there is no point of getting Madden every year. Why pay $60 for a roster update when I can just create the players myself and save money.
