In my franchise, they changed the Raiders to the "Yanks"... LOL. And during the second offseason, I signed Jeremy Maclin to my receiving corps, and while he's pretty good athletically, he dropped like 4 passes in the preseason game I played. He ended up with 5 catches for 105 yards and 2 TD's, but he dropped 4 passes. And he was WIDE open!! Not a DB in sight!

Is anyone else getting stuttering/slowdown when playing no huddle + custom playbook on offense + audibling? 

 

I'm playing on a digital version on PS3.

 

 

Oddly enough, that whole emphasis on the offensive line I believe was touted for the Xbox One and PS4 next gen versions of the game.  I'm guessing that the first year of alpha testing on this engine last year helped debug some issues in this years game.  Of course they still have the long sleeve glitch and a lot of others, which is frustrating when they have so little to do development wise year to year.

 

I wish they'd go back to the Madden 11 style of hiring coaches, where you hired your HC, OC, DC, and STC.  That way the coordinators would be in the system and you could hire someone like Mike Zimmer as your HC.

 

 

Yeah I miss this too.

Also, things like RFAs, practice squad, etc are still missing. Good improvements (or rather, patching back old features + Infinity Engine 2 and the new running system) though.

Ok friends its my time for my Thorough review of Madden Idiot I mean 25. 

 

Score -1 out of 10 .

 

The game is Completely busted offline . Nothing Works ,  Ball Hawk you name it .  Everything is disabled unless you are playing online . EA needs to wake up not EVERYONE wants to play online some of us play games as a way to escape dealing with people for a few hours to just Vege .    yes I know I raved about the Demo but the Demo was just that a Sales pitch from a used car salesman in the ghetto  that got his cars from people in the Sandy Flood Zones .  Worse Birthday Gift I ever got this is more busted then Last years .  Come on I guess the new saying is this if you can get nothing right and dont realy want to work , apply at EA SPorts because they will hirer you to make madden .  I have had it I am leaving console gaming after this my one pleasure on consoles was Madden now EA has taken that from me .  Square took good RPGs so no reason to own a console anymore.

Friend had the game... Decided to play one.. Got destroyed 27-17. He was cowboys and I was ravens

Didn't know until game started that rosters weren't updated or anything

I threw 3 picks.. Two were just pathetic and reminded me why I stopped playing the game..

Defense isnt that bad. i played my first season on all pro with CPU sliders set to 60 and finished 1st in D. im getting towards the end of 2nd season with sliders set to 75 except CPU interception, im sitting at 7th in D, but bounce around between 6-9,

I use simulation sliders on penalties so things are actually called.  Default sliders you will barely see any penalties, in my experience.

 

I'm still working on getting my set right.  It's obvious that QB accuracy needs to be decreased on both my end and the CPU's, the question is how much.

It's very spread and short passing so it's easy to find an open man. You can run it if you want, but I'm probably going 65 percent passing at least with it. They have good personnel group variety and a lot of plays for 11 and 12 personnel sets so it's probably the most effective no huddle I've run without making changes to the audibles.

There are a lot of bugs though. Much to my frustration, scheme changes don't register in owner mode, only in coach more. In game impact is minimal, it's just that my high speed pass rushing dts are rated a sixty in the Ravens'defense. That being said, we have a great 3-4 defensive playbook. They're smart enough to make our nickel formation a 2-4-5 so the outside linebackers stay as edge rushers. It made me think about advancing with a 3-4 scheme to have more diverse blitz packages since I basically run base nickel and that works now.

I tried it today, and I couldn't do it. I have a very balanced approach, and I just couldn't run the ball very well with that book. I threw for a million yards, but I couldn't keep a balanced attack. For now at least, I'll be sticking with the Ravens playbook.

If that stupid pistol stuff wasn't in it, I might still be using the Redskins' playbook.  They still have all the nice stuff from under center and the gun, it's just hard to be lazy and not call my plays with it because I the QBs I use can't run that pistol offense.

It hasn't happened to me yet, but it's a common glitch. I believe the draft classes are in a random order this year, unlike in previous years, and that's what causes this sometimes. I have had the wrong audio track during the draft though, which is annoying.

No, You get him in Connected Franchise in one of the CPU generated drafts. More specifically, he's in the Colossus Stone draft but doesn't show up until late in the season - for me not until the Super Bowl. If you want his draft you can go to the first game of the season but do not play - save - play or sim the game - advance the week and you will have a draft class but if it's not his (Colossus Stone) then just reload and advance again.
