Madden 25

Good, I may not upgrade right away and it would suck not to have the new version of Madden.

Interesting question though, I remember when they upgraded from Xbox to Xbox 360 the original Xbox version had more options than the next-gen version because they focused on the better graphics instead of the features.

if only the 360 and ps3 had the ignite engine

EA won't do that, they want to drive you to buy the next-gen console because then you will need to rebuild your video game library all over again.

I wonder if there'll be constant over-performers in this game like there is in the current Madden.

Jurrell Casey in my Madden seasons has NEVER, in over 20 seasons (with different scenarios) dipped below 10 sacks a year.

In mine Jason Worilds broke the sack record with a 35 sack season... And JPP never gets less than 20 sacks... Cam Newton always wins MVP the second year of CC and Stevan Ridley broke every career rushing record in one of my CCs... Very strange stuff

actualy from what the press conference sounded like yesterday  Ignite will be in all version just at different levels of detail, on top of that the footplant locomotion and player sense makes me want this bad.

Still waiting on the early buzz, but I'll probably be picking this up on launch day.  I really hope they fixed the game from Madden 13, because Madden 13 was truly terrible.

Madden 25 Demo out Aug 13th. The two play now games are the Seattle Seahawks vs Green Bay Packers OR a repeat of the Super Bowl between the Ravens & 49ers. Also this is interesting...

Lastly, the demo also includes two brand-new videos. The first features a preview of Owner Modefeaturing New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft. Mr. Kraft’s words will undoubtedly get you pumped up and excited to become an owner in Connected Franchise. The other video is a compilation of some of the new Madden 25 features: Madden ShareMadden Ultimate Team (including Team Chemistry), and Head-to-Head Seasons
The release date for the Madden 25 demo download will be August 13, 2013, and the demo will be available for Gen 3 from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Store. The Madden demo includes two playable features, as well as two never-before-seen videos to get you pumped up for the full video game release of Madden NFL 25 on August 27.

They really need to put Hernandez on the cover and retitle this MADDEN 25 To Life . It would more accurately reflect how madden players feel about EA sports.

That's cool, I'm downloading it now, but it's taking soooo long. I hope it'll be done before I go into work.

I didn't play Madden 13 and have been playing Madden 12 with updated rosters to keep me busy. Owner Mode is what is bringing me back to playing Madden 25. I hope the commentary and presentation is better, like I said I skipped on Madden 13 so Madden 25 is going to feel like a brand new game to me. The fact I took a year off, I think will help me enjoy the game better since everything will feel brand new to me.

Ditto, I've missed Owner Mode so I'm very exciting to get it back now :)

13 would have been fine if the gameplay didn't suck. I'm downloading the demo right now. If it seems like they fixed that aspect I'll buy the game.

I've been following a pattern. I bought 10, skipped 11, bought 12, skipped 13, and now just bought 25. The every other year thing works for me haha.

After playing the demo, it's alright. Not too impressed (obviously) but its not awful either. It looks like they fixed a few things (from 12 atleast). That and updated rosters so I don't have to do them myself will make me happy I bought the game.

I have alot of hours in Madden 13 and if it wasnt for the fixed video boards at M&T bank and new rosters and menu, i would swear its madden 13.

That's not good.  The engine and physics on 13 were horrid.

I don't know if the precision modifier is bad or will just take some getting used to.  Feels like it makes too much to happen in a small space of time.

I still don't like defender response in pass coverage.  It will take a lot more hours with the game to see if it's as horrid as it was in 13, if I had game capture I would have at least 50 different instances of defenders glitching through offensive players for interceptions.  And that's, of course, ignoring the Superman-esque leaping ability some of those linebackers had.  I'll probably wind up getting it, but I wasn't blown away by the demo.

And why couldn't they get Madden himself to do the commentary one last time since it's the 25th anniversary.

What's Flacco's rating ?

93, better than Rodgers at 92 (I have no idea why he's so low). And he TEARS the 9ers defense up, atleast when I play.
