Status Updates

I really don't like how they show up before "New Topics." I would much prefer to see what's going on in the boards, rather than just somebody's status update, 90% of which don't mean zip to me. At the very least, please put "New Topics" higher up on the page.

I agree, the topics should be on top of the status updates.

 

However, there is a work around for the time being. Clicking the lower x (indicated in the pic below) will hide the "Recent Status Updates" tab and bring the "Recent Topics" tab closer to the top.

 

 

While not perfect and exactly what you wanted, it keeps the status updates invisible.

That's what I do, I totally forgot they were there until they showed up after the upgrade.

is there ever going to be an upgrade for this where you can jump to any page you want rather than flicking through each individual page

What I do is change the url from page-2 to, say, page-7. Would be nice if a jump to feature was added though.
