Top Five Joe Flacco Games

34 posts in this topic

Vikings, Cardinals, Giants, Patriots(12) and Steelers(11) away. Pass to Pitta against the Giants was a thing of beauty. The second half of the Carindals game was just crazy. The last drive in Pitt was a coming of age for him. I had a feeling before the drive he was going to lead the team to victory. He really doesn't get credit as a crunch time player. Also, the td dance that never was against the Giants is one of the GREATEST ever!

Awesome thread, and great choices.

I loved the game against AZ where he led us to the largest comeback in franchise history as well.

I always knew he "had it", before he ever stepped on the field, but the game that confirmed it for me was his rookie season against Cleveland when he brought us back from a double digit deficit. When we were down 13, I thought to myself that no Ravens team we ever had could comeback from this, and Flacco would prove he is the real deal if he could do so...and he did.

That Cardinals win has to be in the top five. I know we don't care about the Cardinals, but that was an incredible comeback!

The problem is that some of Flacco's best games were where other players dropped passes or the defense let him down.

The Vikings game, The Falcons game etc.  My favorite was the AFCCG vs the Pats in 2011.  I couldn't wait to see Jame Dukes squirm his way out of giving Flacco credit.

Numbers 5 thru 2 are the four 2013 playoff games where he matched an NFL record 11 tds with 0 ints. Number 1 is the Steeler game in 2011 where he put together "the drive" = 92 yards, under 2 minutes, no run plays called, no yards gained from penalties........for the WIN. Yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
