How's he doing today?

Very groggy and sleeping a ton. Can hopefully eat solids tomorrow, so that's promising. This is a sad little area with all the crying babies. When I retire I wanna volunteer here just so I can hold babies that are crying.

Really? A PICC line for a 1 and 1/2 year old?

they do that a lot , easier to use, less chance of infiltration and you don't have to change them every 48 to 72 hrs and the veins get less irritated from the antibiotics. Usually they are in the upper arms so he can play, if your little guy is lucky they can draw blood from it so he won't have to endure that pain. That being said glad he is doing well-- hope mom and dad are holding up too, remember its a marathon not a sprint.

Alright Panda... Time to sing an old favorite since I really don't care about game 4 :P

So we sailed, up to the sun. Where we found a sea of ORANGE.

Is Netflix doing original comedy specials now too in their quest to become the internet HBO?  I think Mike Birbiglia: My Girlfriend's Boyfriend is an exclusive for them since I can't even find it on CD or DVD, but it is an incredible special.  After 4 straight amazing routines, I think it's safe to call him my favorite comedian.  I love his delivery, his stories, his analogies, really everything about his comedy is just so delightfully awkward and perfect.

Thanks Mod 2. Last night was the first time I had been home since Thursday. Just me and the 3 year old and now we're headed back to the hospital after giving him a break.

No problem! Hopefully he continues to get better.
