Keep posting like this on game day and I'll catch Pu in no time

Not really

Its tough work. The appearances, the autograph sessions, zero privacy. Paparazzi every where.

Trust me, you don't want it.

All settled in! my dorm is in the perfect spot and im pretty normal compared to some people here..

There are a lot of weirdos in college, you'll be fine. Like Horus said, enjoy it, you'll look back at the experience with different eyes in 15 years.

What a long day. Time to hit the bed!

Don't be like me.  First night of college I got written up.

I threw a party and started boozing it up, little did I know that it was dry campus during orientation.  Also, that underage freshman shouldn't be throwing parties in the dorm in the first place, go figure.

My foster cat is making a very clear case today for me to not just decide to adopt him for good... he seriously has not behaved since the moment I've been up...

So, been at John Hopkins with my youngest since 4:00 yesterday afternoon. Has an abscess 7x6x3 inches in his abdomen. Awesome!

OMG! Is it easily treatable? Does he need surgery?

Kind thoughts, well wishes, and prayers are being sent your way. The good thing is that youngsters are a lot tougher and recover a lot faster than us adults.

Best of luck, 1/28/01.  I'll be praying for your youngest.  Don't forget to take care of yourself, too (sleep).

Good luck! Kids are pretty resilient they get sick so fast and bounce back quick too. Keeping my fingers crossed for your family. Take care you get some rest and so does your wife.

That is excessively not good. Best wishes!! You're at one of the best hospitals in the country, he'll be just fine.

That sucks man, I hate seeing kids sick.  It's just not right.  Hope everything went well.

Do Starbuckses usually have community bulletin boards? I'm trying to advertise a yard sale for charity...

Most places, if you appeal to their generous nature, even if they don't have a bulletin board, will allow you to put something on the counter or on the door. ;)

Having little ones myself, I can empathize.  Best of luck to your son.

Yeah, the clothing store near them (big supporters of this rescue) actually put the sign up in the window, and then put it on the counter near the register in a sign holder in case people miss it in the window. I love them. They also have a dog that frequently comes to work there, she just sits in a chair all day sleeping and snorting in her sleep...

Well, Hopkins rules (obviously). One of the worst appendectomys and largest abscesses they've seen and here we are (shirt not intentional):

Grocery stores, pharmacies, movie theathers, restaurants (fast food places, see if they will let you hang them on the counter and on the order box in the drive-thru), gas stations (preferably at the pumps since most people use credit cards these days), busy intersections...

If there are any other special events going on, pass out some leaflets there.
