math develops your thinking levels and depth... useful for the future by opening your horizon to endless possibilities... wanted to to cybernetics when i was your age and then got into a "fight" with my physics professor in highschool - needles to say all went bollocks after that

actually i ended up having a degree in history and a masters in anthropology... still miss the opportunity of not doing more maths and physics when my mind was able to comprehend the abstract notions

I don't like math at all. Think some of it is not needed for the job I want to do.

My Pops (who does math for a living) says you only need to know a few things
1. Addition
2. Subtraction
3.Multiplacation
5.Division
6. How to do taxes..

A bf of mine many years ago was a mechanical engineer.....you should have seen him trying to explain Bernoulli's principle to me.....he drew sketches....heck he even built models for me and I couldn't wrap and still can't wrap my brain around it! *chuckle*

It's okay. Still a very very VERY VERY sore spot with me, obviously. I struggle with that darn near every day.

Don't get me wrong...I am very grateful to have a job (especially after a year and a half of unemployment) but I can't help but wonder a lot of times, 'is this all I get for the rest of my life?'

learned a few words, phrases etc... found it easier than my fellow work-colleagues (Welsh by birth), english native speakers
