Offense:

1.)Benard Pollard

Great cut ability and sneaky speed with a great blend of power and balance, a true change up player:

2.)Deonte Thompson

Great speed, great agility, a danger in open space, very possible future #2:

Defense:

1.)Mike McAddo:

Size, Explosion, Agility, this 22 yr old has the potential to get Suggs successor if he can put all the pieces together:

2.)John Simon:

A Jarrett Johnson clone, at OLB, he can set the edge and has a quick enough step to pass rush on 3rd down. He also have the leadership and brains to move inside and play MLB, might be worth the try:

It's Bernard Pierce not Pollard. I love BP though. He's awesome.

John Simon is not like Jarrett Johnson. I really disagree here. I'm not trying to be rude. Please don't take this that way. When they say he is a Jarrett Johnson type of OLB they mean in terms of his attitude. His attitude and approach is very similar to JJ because he was the blue collar, hard working guy here.

JJ doesn't have the pass rush Simon has and Simon is NOT able to set the edge at all close to the way JJ can. In fact, that's an area where Simon needs work.

First of all, this is why I hate spell check, lolz.

I get what your saying about Simon, I was thinking about his attitude and take to the game as well, I was also thinking about potential, I think with his intelligence he can fix those issues and be good at SAM and great at WILL but could also have the ability to push inside at MLB. I think JJ is still the more physically gifted of the two but I think John is definitely able to start if someone gets injured or something of the sort. I definitely understand your point.

Believe me. I know all too well lol. You have no idea how many times my stupid phone has corrected my stuff. It's annoying.

Anyway, yeah. I hear you. I'm not sure about him playing the MLB. I'm no confident he has the sideline speed for the position and lacks the knowledge that allowed Ray Lewis to stay there with his declined speed.

Simon looks more like a Kruger clone when I watch his highlight videos from OSU.  I do love his motor, though.

Can't wait to see David Reed 2013 epic fail ........

What kind of Ravens fan hopes one of its players fails? Seems really petty to me.

Man, Pierce can stiff arm like nobody's business, and he already breaks tackles like a pro. He's gonna be big stuff this year.

Pierce fan here, as well. A little concerned about injuries with him, but hopefully a full season of strengthening will make him less prone to injury.

yeah im excited about pierce. now ill admit when we picked him in the draft i was scratching my head, and i was NOT happy lol. but thats why ozzies the gm and none of us, because i know there was a few more people scraching their head. oh the irony, i was so happy when we picked ray rice, and it was a wtf moment for me when we picked pierce, and now im sitting here saying pierce will end up the starter by the end of the season..

and more on pierce.. does anyone else think he runs a whoooole lot like AP? i swear i see a mix between AP and mcgahee and a little bit of arian foster when i watch this dude play, the truckstick, the fact that he would rather run you over than around, but CAN run around you when he needs to, the stiff arm, that cut back he uses to turn the corner when you least expect it.. man i cant wait to watch the rest of this dudes career

In my eyes he's the water boy.....

You can hate him all you want but it's really sad to hope a player on your football team fails. There's a lot wrong with that in my personal opinion.

I see what you are saying, he does have that higher running style. I like the Arian comparison more, they both are those galloping smooth type of runners who dont look like they are ever at full speed, even though they clearly are. I love his patience especially on stretch or outside runs somehow he always makes the edge or creates one by letting it develop. He really does look like he is something special, and it was great to see him in the playoffs performing. Especially when Rice's confidence was clearly down with all the lost fumbles

I will throw another comparison in there just because. To me he reminds me of a poor mans version of Cameron Wake. Once he works on his hip flexibility he could set up alot more moves going to the QB

He's like a faster McGahee.

This guy is gonna be a beast in fantasy leagues in 2013. Rice will tire out the D with his versatility and Pierce is gonna run his way into a future huge deal!

u think a rookie would just walk n and just hand him the spot, he's gonna have to earn that, Ihedigbo looked pretty good last year when he replaced BP, if anything they will ease Elam into the starting lineup, spend time on ST, they're not gonna throw him to the fire.

Throw him into the fire? Lmao. He's a first round pick that isn't raw. He will start the opener. You think they are going to put Arthur Brown on special teams with the hole at linebacker? Aside from being a thumper and making some occasional blitzes, what makes you think that Ihedigbo can consistently preform in coverage? Cmmon bruh! Elam has so much more talent than Ihedigbo it isn't even funny.
