Yeah I'm not even sure that it's much deeper than recent years either though, maybe it is in that there are more upside guys than usual who's situations aren't fleshed out yet, who might turn out to be mid round steals or something once the season pans out, Ball, Miller, Bell, Lacy/Franklin, Ivory, Giovanni, Wilson/Brown, Pead/Stacy/Richardson the jury is still out on those guys but you have to figure at least a couple will turn out to be solid

Where do we sign up?

I was thinking of doing a massive BR.COM league with 64 players. Split them into 4 separate leagues with 16 teams each with the same settings, then we can crown the 4 division players by week 16 and make them face each other via point total for week 17. Let the best team win!!! Deep leagues show how good of a player you are where you can't hoard any good players. Deep leagues require PPR and also a full defensive roster can give that extra edge.

1. We'd never get 64 active ppl. We couldnt even get 16 for ATD's league last year

2. 4 separate leagues means players will overlap which depending on the matchup could lead to cancel outs for players.

3. You can still hoard good players in a deep league.

I meant 4 leagues to accommodate the 64 players. So there could be 4 champs all with AP.

Anyways, just an idea to throw out. I think we can get around 32-40 sign-ups and just split them evenly to leagues.

What's the best fantasy football system?

I'm Yahoo based and have used ESPN and NFL.com. Not familiar with Fox or CBS.

I heard Fleaflicker is the best one because you have total control on customization. Also, I'm PPR and IDP based because once you use it, you never go back.

I have been thinking about this a lot since ATD's league with the bonuses

I'd do Yahoo as the system

As for IDP, I'd only include it if the system is significantly slanted to inflating their points ie something like making sacks were 5 and a tackles worth 2. This significantly increases the value of IDP players and actually makes the a game changing factor without being a swing.

I don't like PPR because of how severely it inflates some players stats (Danny Amendola being the classic example). Too much of a swing. I think 0.5 ppr is best.

I like 0.5 PPR because it's the most balanced. PPR is important for deeper leagues because you have to find more ways to get points to balance out the playing field. IDP stats gives that extra effort to learn the defensive players too. I feel having four has a balance as DL/LB/DB/IDP.

Tackle = 1

Assist = .5

Sacks = 3 (It doesn't count as a tackle)

TFL = 2 (It stacks with Tackles or Assists)

Interception = 4

FF = 2

FR = 2

PD = 1.5

TD = 6

I also like the KR/PR yardage too at like 1 Point = 30 Yards, so you can use lesser known players or even IDP returners. Also, this does imflates PPR/KR guys like Antonio Brown, but still no where near workhorse backs like AP.

Fleaflicker's my favorite one. I'd be down if we used that site

I prefer Yahoo cause Brad Evans is so convincing. Even though his sit and start posts were ridiculous and colorful, he was considered one of the most accurate Fantasy Gurus out there last season, even though half of Yahoo hates him.

Fleaflicker should be the official system for the BR.com Fantasy Football League

I want to try it.

I messed around with the controls over there and it's ridiculous on how much customization you can do with it.

Seriously? Yahoo is well known as the biggest joke of a site by all fantasy football enthusiasts. Made for free leagues full of players who really don't know the game. And their analysis is well documented as the least accurate source of information. I sense subterfuge here.

Well Yahoo was the first system. I was planning on leaving when you had to pay for statstrackers.  Anyways, old habits die hard and it's my original fantasy football site.

I want to move to FleaFlicker though due to it being considered the best one out there.

I don't think I'm doing a Yahoo league this year, will stick with ESPN.

Espn's ananlysts are very hit or miss. Some are very good some are terrible. I like their league manager system and just the interface of the whole league set up and the live draft ap is good as well.
