Thank you. It was a very difficult decision, but I just couldn't pass him up. The scariest thing about picking this early is that we have no idea what the following trends will be like. The early trend seems discouraging, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Ya it is a bit of a pain picking so early but you do get access to the top talent. This pick is gonna be considered a reach by some people.

Flacco is polarizing. As I have said before though, there is no QB other than Aaron Rodgers I would rather build my franchise around for the next 5-10 years. It all came together for him last year in the playoffs, and I think with the right supporting cast he can be a truly elite player.

I figured most wouldn't, but I didn't like the 2nd year QBs (Because of their somewhat unproven nature) other than RG3 but the injury scared me off. So I went with a very young QB with almost no durability concerns, a great arm, and tremendous athletic ability.
