Seven years is good. Now a days, QBs are expected to play past 36 like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. I think Smith can play longer since his game is based on quick release, accuracy, and intelligence.

Why you so down on my QB? Last time I checked, you're still looking for QB. Your team might have to throw in the towel this season to get a shot at Manziel or Bridgewaters next year. Unless you're settling with Henne, Geno, or Gabbert, which have a lot of question marks.

Yeah, I'm at peace with my guards. I think Urbik's pass blocking ability with Thomas' all around athleticism should give Alex Smith time to throw. Also, I like heir versatility to play all three interior positions.

Sizzlesbu's offense is complete and all I can say is that he's giving the keys of that Ferrari Offense to Nick Foles. Very impressive, but a lot of trust on Nick Foles. I assume he will go defense for the next 10 rounds.

Even with Calvin Johnson putting up an Hall of Fame season, the Lions still ended up as the 5th worst team. At least you got two stud WRs and have a functional offensive line.

The Lions offense revolved around Calvin, I have many more options. A top 5 WR, up and coming RB, franchise LT, etc

Snee is coming off hip surgery which may keep him out until the start of the season,(altho he is expected to be at camp fwiw), is 31, and a lot of ppl here in ny want him and Diehl replaced. As for Kerley, I feel like he was the beneficiary of how bad the Jets were and is numbers were somewhat inflated due to how that offense went. I also feel better picks were on the board.

Also I would rather have Alex Smith and Torrey Smith with a couple of solid TE's and a ytbd WR2 than 2 stud wideouts and any QB's left on the board.  And I don't really care for Alex much.  We've all seen how the 2 top WR plays out... not well.  Carson-Chad-TO... Trainwreck.

I will never understand debating uniform colors?  This baffles my mind.  This is not Americas' next top model... If I want fashion conversation I can watch that stuff with my wife.  Don't expect it in a football forum. 

 

Uniforms aren't a huge deal but I prefer my team to knock you out and look classy doing it. They aren't at all my team, but imo football uniforms don't get any better than this:
