Sign Tim Tebow

244 posts in this topic

It would be the only move were we would get some decent coverage from ESPN. The New York teams, the Patriots, the Cowboys, and any team that signs Tebow get 90% of the NFL coverage. However, it would not be worth it. Tebow is a good kid but we don't need the circus show that follows him around.

I'm not sure I agree or disagree about Tebows football IQ, he may be good with the Xs & Os, film study etc ( I don't know never really read about it ), but if he practices poorly all the time something is wrong, high football IQ should mean that he learns quickly, can apply what he learns on the field and improve.

I still believe now and before he got his playing time in Denver that Tebow would be best as a TE, H-Back, Or FB.

Practiced poorly? He was inserted as Denver's starting QB when they were 1 and 4. If he'd practiced poorly i don't think that would have happened to begin with. Then he went 7 and 4 regular season and beat the Steelers in a wild card game while passing 316 yards.

And it took an 80 yard TD from a STUD WR to get him the win/300 yards

So having one game with 300+ yards makes you a good QB?  I'm pretty sure Ryan Leaf surpassed 300 in a game and look how he turned out.

Grossman made a SB..... Something Tebow will never do in his wildest dreams

He was a 4th year pro and didn't throw for 300 yards until that season during a regular season game. He did throw for 282 yards against Seattle first round of the playoffs as a 4th year pro.

You're missing the point.

Grossman was at least a capable QB who could take his team to a SB.

Tebow: One playoff win

Grossman: SB appearance.

Also, Grossman did not need that kicker of his to bail him out

Ok. I'll step out on this. I was dead wrong on Tim Tebow. I thought he was one of the dumbest first round selections at quarterback I ever saw. I was laughing out loud screaming "Tim Tebow? Get out of here!" Then NFL Networks hyped Tebowmania when Cam Newton should have been getting all the attention.
I watched a few Denver games and saw Tebow running over safeties and linebackers bouncing off of him. This guys a beast. I researved judgement until I saw him complete several tight passes and a few over the top. He reminded me of Kordell Stewart except he has a better arm.
This dude is getting a raw deal. Broncos' management was bathing in Tebowmania. Everybody was. Believe it. Now Tebow is paying the price.

We get it... You think he got a raw deal. So how would coming here to be a back up help him or us? He won't get a shot here and just bring a circus.

He needed the powerful Bears defense that carried them to the Superbowl.

Can this get locked and banned forever!!!

For some reason the moderators are allowing it to continue. Not sure why, when they have locked other threads before for less or moved them for less. It makes no sense to me. They've said that if you want it to die, then let it die. They have a point. Regardless, I don't see how this belongs in RavensTalk when DeCosta denied its possibility.

Whatever. I'm doing my part in not posting in this thread. I'm only replying to your message in case others haven't yet realized to let the thread die.

Here, let me help everyone involved:

And Tebow did not have a powerful defense?
