Pretty sure it was over 100.  I doubt this even comes close, even as stupid as it is.

Nor I, but it sounds like the quarterbacks weren't anywhere close to what we wanted in terms of value. I don't think they became more valuable at any point. The quarterback class looks pretty deep next year. I think we'll end up taking one for that reason. I think one will end up being BPA at some point early.

Casey Pachall would be beast and he is a probably a mid round selection but will end up being a later round guy...later round like Da'rick Rogers later cause not only does he fail drug tests but he's on that hardcore ish like dealing ecstacy.

But you never know. He's got a whole year to show he can turn things around. I think he could play in the AFC North though

I'm not into it. There are positions where you can roll the dice with character concerns. Quarterback is not one of them in my opinion.

I don't want Tebow, not even as a backup.  But to say he's 'not a QB' is a little out there.  And I will forever be grateful to him beating the steelers lol.

His baggage is an illusion created by the NY media hell bent on covering up the ineptness of the Jets ownership and front office. If he came to Baltimore as a class act guy that he is all the crap will stop. Tebow has a very high football IQ. Compared to many run first throw second QBs he is by far the best I've seen.

i'm sure it's been covered in the thread but.........

If nobody wants you to play quarterback then you are by virtue not a quarterback. His ability to play quarterback is undeniable. He can play. No teams want him to play quarterback, however, and as such he won't be a quarterback until someone wants him to play the position. Reports suggest that teams would be willing to user him at TE. He doesn't want to make the transition, I suppose.

Nice guys. You're correct. Someone posted a thread saying to get rid of Ray.

I claim Tebow's current situation as 45% him, 55% media's fault.

I think it's probably 65% media. They hype the hell out of him. I'm glad we didn't get Te'o because of this reason.

Indeed. But assuming BPA is NOT a QB in every round selection, and Flacco continues his streak of starts, and as long as you have former starters signing 1 yr deals to be backups (David Garrads, Ryan Fitz's, etc etc) a guy that goes UDFA would have a shot.

But alas, touche to your point. You are spot on. Pretty sure we'll land something even better than a top 20 QB prospect next year since most of the bad teams have their man, and a number of the good teams have already drafted a solid potential backup more recently

Best what you have ever seen? I know you do not mean to say he is the best QB you have ever seen, of even football player, unless you have never watched a football game of any sort at any level in your entire life.

He's saying Tebow is the best run-first quarterback he has ever seen.

That's still nuts.

He may not ask for the media attention, but he's sure making no effort to stop it.  He's not worth it.  As if the media wasn't enough, he's not that good.  There's an obvious reason why the Jets stuck with Mark Sanchez over Tebow.  You can't get much worse than Sanchez, unless you have Tebow behind him.

NFL doesn't stop media attention. Explain how a young man focusing 100% on his craft is going to do it.
Jets started Sanchez because they were paying him 50 million. I'll tell you what happened. Jets fire thier offensive coordinator who was dutifully holding the offense together and then bring in a known developmental quarterback basically to take advantage of the hype. Tebow no support. Input the very crafty and distructive New York media and the situation reached critical mass. Barooooom with Tebow at ground zero. He didn't earn it or deserve it.

As I see it the media destroyed a very good football project when they should have been concentrating on Cam Newton in the process of breaking over 100 rookie quarterback records.

I wish no one would have bought in to it. NFL Netwoks is the biggest offender.

Yeah but...the thing that made that moment SO GREAT was that they got Tebowed. Which, if he was an actual starting caliber NFL QB would not have been so hilarious.
