As a giant Gators fan, I would love that opportunity! As a football fan, I wouldn't welcome the media circus that comes with him. He's truly an amazing kid. He treated the fans at The Swamp with complete kindness all the time, and he was overly liked in the Gainesville community. He was larger than life down there, and it's sad that he's been thrown around like a rag doll in the NFL so far.

His baggage is an illusion created by the NY media hell bent on covering up the ineptness of the Jets ownership and front office. If he came to Baltimore as a class act guy that he is all the crap will stop. Tebow has a very high football IQ. Compared to many run first throw second QBs he is by far the best I've seen.

Yeah, lol that's exactly what we ought to do...

I personally think his high character and Christian beliefs would fit in very nicely here. :)

I like Tebow as a guy. It's a shame he has such rabid fans but I suppose that comes with the territory. He seems like a great person. He's just not a great quarterback. He needs some work. I think the perfect place for him is with the Patriots. I heard Belichick hates him, however.

The best thing for him is to say he no longer wants to play quarterback. Switch to tight end. That should get him on a team at least so he can play.

Ok. Here it is

Tim Tebow has the heart and soul of Ray Lewis to go along with the throwing ability of Ray Lewis.
We will gain instant respect :p

Over/under on time it takes for us to see "Tim Tebow, Back-up QB?" in Ravenstalk.

I want to say I called it. Thank you, thank you.

First time starting in the NFL with a rookie head coach for a QB considered a run first QB? What would you expect? All successful QBs have good offensive lines and receivers. I won't get into that. Tebow is much better than the backups we have. Let Flacco go down and you'll se how bad they are.

Yes because the Packers, Steelers, Cowboys, Chargers, Bears, Rams, Colts, and Dolphins all had good O-Lines and WRs...

We pick a free agent that is supposed to be Ray Lewis' replacement and low and behold he gets arrested 11 days later for RESISTING arrest! Has trouble covering the pass but we can teach him to be a Raven. Here's a guy that gallantly stepped into the most difficult position in pro sports under the most difficult of circumstances and Eric DeCosta says "You don't have to worry about that." On Tebow coming to Baltimore. What in the world does the NFL want from this guy? To be a tight end? Now I'm pulling out some emotion that all the naysayers are user as opposed to reason.
He's better than any backup we have on the roster. Just look at the rag arms with 30 mile an hour fastballs we have riding the pine and collecting a check. Let Flacco go down and you'll see the kind of chum we have backing him up.

Tebow is a one man circus...... Do you really want to add that kind of attention behind the QB who just won the most prestigious award in all of sports?

So many people calling for Tebow.... There's a reason why Greg McElroy remained the starter after they benched Sanchez

Tebow's a great guy - no one is disputing that - but he can't consistently throw the ball at the NFL level. Whether it's his mechanics, decision-making, accuracy... he just doesn't have it.

I think Tim can be a starting Quarterback in this league. In fact, I don't see much difference between Kaepernick and Tebow. Tebow could have had much success in that read-option offense. There are probably some teams he can go to and contribute.

This isn't one of them. Our roster is too deep for him to waste a roster spot. And frankly, I'm not saying that Tebow wouldn't be a good back-up to Joe Flacco. I'm saying I'd rather have Tyrod Taylor or Caleb Hanie.

You know what actually would be a good place for Tebow?

New Orleans.

The Orioles should sign him, if theres another man besides R.A Dickey who can throw completely unpredictable flight paths from the same throwing motion it's Tim Tebow.

One man circus? He didn't ask or grandstand for media attention. Who's in charge here, media? My opinion is that the NFL is full of a bunch of cowards always talking about toughness while allowing media persona to dictate. Here's a tough guy both mentally and physically with known skills and can't find a job.
As for the jets starting Greg McElroy. Well. LOL LOL LOL. I'm not surprised at anything the Jets do.
