I think it would be a bit hard to do that as we arent drafting entire rosters, only starters essentially and maybe a few specialty players (nickel CB, 3rd WR, 2nd TE, etc)

It's pretty simple really. We go through 25 rounds of drafting current NFL players, and you get to decide how you want to build your own Franchise. Each round you will take 1 player to add to your team, so by the end you have 25 players that should hopefully resemble a starting defense and offense. How you wish to build your team is up to you, offense first or focus on defense? Build the trenches or focus on skill players? etc etc.

So evidently I'm on the ignore list by Gabey because he couldn't handle the truth about something I said... wow, really, and he's starting up a board draft involving 25 rounds?? Nevermind, I don't want to be a part of this league anyways. Unless he changes who is in charge of this show, this draft will tank. I'm banking on it.

If you're going to run a league through this site, it HAS to be open to everyone. The organizer may not put possible participants on ignore.

Everyone has to behave...all regular forum rules apply.

This isn't really a fantasy league, more like a GM game, similar to the one we are completing right now. The only difference is we draft our teams from scratch. I'm not sure if this affects these rules or not but I just thought I'd clear that up.

Actual NFL teams don't apply, so you can make up teams if you wish. The order will be randomly generated once all the participants are signed up. I would say draft however you see fit. Personally I will draft with an eye for the future, as I see this as a Franshise building exercise, but if you want to build a team in win now mode, older players might be more beneficial. I do think age should be considered though.

I'm not excluding anyone. If someone is on my ignore, they are free to sign up just like anyone else. Nothing is stopping them as I can still see if they post.

Of course everyone is welcome. I can still see anyone who posts in this thread or any other thread and if they wish to particpate they are more than welcome. (there is a little tab that pops up saying so-and-so is ignored, do you wish to see what they wrote?)

Yeah, I was going to say we need to set up a time limit at some point. I am OK with 24hr to pick, but I also think we should do a "buddy system" where you message the next 2 people after you as soon as you pick

We don't need 32, but with less it will concentrate talent more and be less realistic.

I realize I was just saying because I think if it takes a couple weeks or something to get up around 32 rather than the like 22 we already have then some people might forget or become disinterested during that period. That's all.
