What ever happened to that Shakespeare guy we got from the CFL last off season?
He looked fairly decent in pre season, but ultimately reached an "injury settlement " and I have not herd from him since.
I thought for sure we would hear about him again this off season.

Went back to Canada.  He's over 30.  I don't think he ever really had an NFL future.

Oh... Not a thread to recite Shakespeare.

Who is he anyway... Just curious.

A DE who burst onto the scene in the CFL from about 08-11 I think.  He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, my provincial home team.  He was pretty good off the edge combined with John Chick (guy who signed with the Colts 2 years ago), together they took pressure off each other.  Neither could play in the NFL, or even be backups.  Both were above average athletes for the CFL but below average athletes in terms of the NFL.

Stevie Baggs is his name.  He was the highest paid defensive player in the CFL for a couple years, and well worth it he was a disruptive force.
