I'm pretty sure we just did this a few months ago.  I could be mistaken, though.

If we had Jamal Lewis back in 2002, then we would've contend for the Super Bowl. We know how that worked out.

My perfect 53[/quote]

I agree with most of your squad I would just switch out a handful of players for my own preference.

Out- Cunningham , In- McNair ( 3rd String)
Out - Leach ( love him but ), In - Sam Gash
Out - Nakamura , In -D.Mason ( 6th WR)
Out -D.Sanders , In - K.Herring

** I didn't want to take Ismail out so that's why I dropped Nakamura. Adalius Thomas, Pollard, K.Herring all have special teams experience from early on.
** taking PrimeTime out was only to add Herring a guy that could play special teams, but contribute on defense if necessary. Since we had the older PrimeTime, which wasn't effective like R.Woodson.
** I understand Sharper at ILB and that would be great since he showed later he could play the position but as a Raven we may have to swap him an Thomas.

Sanders is my second favorite player of all time after Ray. I keep Sanders over Herring because even at 37 he could still play corner and do a little returning if you needed. Sharper led the league in tackles after the Texans stole him from us in their supplemental draft. He started on our 2000 championship defense no way does he get replaced by anyone. AD Thomas is already on the team as a backup OLB. If you wanted to replace Nakamura with Herring I could agree with that because he was a better safety and would also be a very good ST player. Cunningham was very underrated. When he played we won including over the Steelers. Grbac couldn't beat the Steelers. I keep in Cunningham over McNair for the fact that all of our QB's would have strong arms. Cunningham had a cannon just like Flacco and was accurate. I take him just for that reason alone. Gash was a good run blocker but he didn't catch the ball or carry it. Leach is the better all around FB. Mason doesn't make the cut because we don't need him. He can't do anything better than the other 5 WR's and we don't need him at special teams. Michael Jackson can go deep and do possession and you already have Boldin to be another possession WR. Smith, Ismail, and Lewis all go can deep for your strong armed QB's.

I'll edit my list to put Herring in over Nakamura. Then looking at my team I have too many lineman we only need to carry 8 not 10. I'll remove Mulitalo and Flynn, as Grubbs can play the G and C spots if needed. I'll add Mason as the 6th WR for ST duty and I'll add Corey Graham on as a 5th CB to also play ST. That way we have an efficient 11 on ST.

ST 11 on KO, Stover, Ayanbadejo, Herring, Graham, Pollard, Johnson, Sharper, Thomas, Starks, Mason, and Rolle. No returns allowed on this athletic ST group.

Webb was our best corner ever ?

I think it was McCallister. When he was on he was an elite shutdown CB. If Webb can stay healthy for us over the next few years he can take that spot from Chris.

It seems like a lot of people are trying to run the 3-3 defense.  I know our defense has been awesome over the years, for the most part, but that's still no reason to go with only 10 defenders.

Lorenzo Neal was our best full back
I don't think boldin really belongs on the list.

Wr:
1. Mason
2. Jackson
3. Ismael
4. T. Smith

Boldin I guess would be 5

That's harsh.. I agree Boldin was way past his prime when he arrived in charm city, but I'd take him over Torrey and Isamel. If we had Caldwell and Joe calling the shots instead of Camoron, I'm sure Boldin would have reached 1000 yards.

You misunderstood a couple things I said, The way I looked at the whole set a up team is putting the players on the team in the position that they once played as a Raven... So I said Jamie Sharper didn't play MLB/ILB until after he left the Ravens so to fit his Ravens resume he would be an OLB, while Adalius Thomas played multiple positions including OLB, ILB.

I didn't want to take Sharper off the team or anything.

Deion Sanders is cool, that's why I said if I must have another special teamer then I would add in Kim Herring, Deion is an all time great but when he was a Raven he was a shell of himself he wasn't playing at that high level like Rod Woodson was...
Now if it was the true PrimeTime Deion then J.Lewis & J.Jones might not see any returns lol, L.Webb would be our nickelback

Once again I understand your reasons and agree with some of them..

I really like Lorenzo Neal a lot. He may have been career wise the overall best blocking FB in recent memory, but Lorenzo Neal only played 1 season as a Raven and he wasn't even a full time starter because Le'Ron McClain began as the starting FB that season but due to injuries of McGahee and rookie Ray Rice, McClain became a featured back with Lorenzo Neal then starting.

Sam Gash played 3 years with us, when the Offense was basically power running and hoping the Defense could score lol
