Jimmy Smith...he was a bust throughout his first 2 seasons missing a bout 9 games I think and not playing u to par, but showed flashes of talent here and there when he did play. So far this year he has really developed especially in the redzone he kept Brandon Marshall put of the endzone a couple of times 1 on 1. And obviously did what he did tonight...he still gives up the occasional big play but for the most part he is developing a lot more this year.

 

On offense in a year where our offense was horrible its going to Marlon Brown...still raw and developing but a great redzone WR and TD magnet.

My pick is Jimmy Smith. But I do like the reasoning behind the Gino picks.

I don't personally think he's a bust or ever was.  He just wasn't playing like Chris McAlister so people flipped out.

I think it's a fair expectation that a 1st round pick be a starter his rookie year at some point.  He really struggled last year.  But I think he was dealing with a core injury/groin injury.

Art Jones played great so far but he might have had a breakout season last year.

Marlon Brown played big, too but a little bit inconsistent. I can't wait for his 'real' breakout season next year. If he stays healthy, that can turn out into BREAKOUT season.

If brown puts on a bit of muscle weight, say 10 pounds he could be the kind of slot receiver we are looking for.

I think if DeAngelo Tyson keeps playing the way he is, Arthur Jones would be expendable and we wouldn't miss him as much if we couldn't keep him in free agency. Both are similar players. & they both were late round, underrated guys.
