Justin Blackmon Suspended 4 Games

Right now as it stands the Jags could cut him without any penalty because of the way they built his contract coming out of college with past DUIs.

Assuming he was to get cut, do you think we would be interested in adding him to the WR mix? He was a former 5th overall pick just a year ago.

Can't be 'roids. I am pretty sure they classify steroids as PEDs, not substance abuse. Substance abuse is typically narcotics, hallucinogens, etc. He had to test positive for marijuana or something like that.

This will be interesting to monitor. I honestly don't think they will cut him, they invested to much in him. However, it is a possibility, new owner, he has had multiple issues over the years. They prob wont cut him, but I could see a scenerio where they want to offload him to another team for a draft pick. And in all honesty, we have a much stronger foundation to our organization, starting with our owner and GM, and our head coach. I could envision us giving up a 3rd/4th round pick and bringing him to the Ravens and putting him in a different environment. Again, not saying this will happen, its just an interesting thought to mull over. Small chance they will trade him, and atleast get some value. But they will not "cut/release" a #5 pick.

I know some franchises are pinching pennies all the time. But I doubt Jax is one of those teams. Especially when Blackmon is one of the better players that's probably putting butts in seats?

The Jaguars knew about the suspension before the draft occurred. Since they only drafted 1 WR, Ace Sanders 4th, they won't cut him.
