Fantasy Football 2013: Who do you hope to get?

You really think RG3 will have 25+ passing TDs? I doubt it. He also probably wont throw for much more than 3,000 yards, Romo could easily put up 30-35 TDs and 4500 yards. Even though RG3 will get he rushing yards and TDs he wont get as many as last season. I know I'm not going to convince you otherwise, but I would rather have Romo. If you are certain you can draft Graham I would keep RG3 but that is the only way. Just my 2 cents.

There's no way I could draft Romo. I've dogged him so much to the guy that's had him the last 3 years and he's always let him down in big games lol. With Bryant's emergence I think he'll have a better year, I just can't do it. He'll throw more yards but I see them having around the same # of total TD's, RG3 with more rushing yards and less turnovers. I just love the effiency he had last year with that 5:1 TD/ INT ratio.

I like Romo, he helped me win a championship last year. I think he is one of the most underappreciated fantasy players out there. He may fall flat in real life but he puts up stats.

Yea. Romo is a fantasy stud and an incredible value this year. He might choke in games in real life, but he'll still chuck for 400 yards and 3TDs in that gane.

I agree with all you have said. Romo can only get better with Dallas commiting more to protection as well as the running game. Also Washington and Philly look to have extremely porous defenses for romo to put up points against. Dallas seems to have improved defensively.

He's kind of streaky, in my league anyway. He'll throw up 40 points one week, 8 points the next. Other then those big games I think he's pretty average.

In 2011 he looked really good, but last year took a step back again (in real life). I don't know how a new OC will affect him but if Murry stays healthy and give him a running game then he'll be a lot better.

So I was hoping to get 2 good RBs but that's tough at first pick overall. I'm thinking about getting some combo of Julio Jones, Brandon Marshall, and Jimmy Graham at 20 and 21 overall picks. Personally, I think any of them have much more value than the RBs in that area. Reggie Bush seems to fall closest to my reach, but I think that is a big reach. Afterwards I think I'll try for some of the rookie RBs and hope one catches fire.

Edit: non PPR by the way.

If you can get Jimmy Graham at 20-21, I would do that in a heartbeat. Jones or Marshall would both be good picks as well. If there is a top 12 RB I might try to snag one of them as well, but it depends on who you like. Stevan Ridley or Frank Gore would be good values there and I have seen them available in several leagues. Maybe even MJD if you believe he can stay healthy.

I have it set in my mind that Gore has to drop off significantly soon and I don't want to be the one it falls on when that happens. Also don't care for MJD. I'm looking for as much guaranteed as possible for my top 3 picks and I don't see much of that in my range for RBs. Unless I find, like you mentioned, one of those top 12 backs. Ridley or Forte are the ones I hang hope on, but some people might have to be jumping on Rodgers and Brees for that to happen.

I thought Gore was done 2 years ago, but last year convinced me otherwise. I think he will be a very good #2 back. MJD could be a lottery ticket, but he comes full of risk, Ridley would be my favorite of the three, even slightly ahead of Forte.
