Flacco revealed, then? Sorry I don't get NFLN here

#61 has 61 rushing attempts in his playoff carreer. Doesn't sound like Joe. :D

61 rushing attempts is Roethlisberger.  If Joe is ahead of Ben, I think the Steelers board is going to explode.

I agree. It's most likely Ben.

Wow, so unless Joe is off the list (not likely), Flacco actually pulled ahead of Big Ben. Well, you need to be on the field to make an impression I guess. :)

I'm confused. They said there was a Raven tonight.

Oh soooo...they had their show's mixed up?

Because this was on my FB page.

This mystery Raven will be revealed in tonight's episode of the NFL Top 100 Players of 2013 (#51-60). Tune into the NFL Network at 8pm to find out who it is!

Hmmm.....

No Ravens revealed between #70 and #61.

D'oh, Ravens FB posted this a week too early - got my hopes up.

They posted that today. Methinks it was meant for next week, the "tonight" and #51-60 are conflicting.

They teased Sizzle in the trailer for #60 to #51. It would be a fair ranking considering his injury.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I think Sizzle is going to be revealed next week.

If Flacco is not on this list... I will send the SF Nuke at NFLN headquarters.

Maybe IDK. I wonder where Ngata and Doom will be.

There are still 11 QBs left on the list they said. I can't see Flacco not being on the list.

Steelers board is going to be crazy just from where Ben is ranked.

We have a couple wild cards in there. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed probably shouldn't be on the top 100, but will most likely get in there because of their whole body of work. Ray might get a really high ranking on that list, because his retirement might invoke a couple memories of his former greatness in voters.

I don't know if Ray's eligible because he's retired

Even though I do think its silly there are 11 QBs rated higher than Roethlisberger, it amuses me in a bad way how the NFLN reaction show is five guys crying for Big Ben.

I really hope Ngata gets some love. Early in the season Haloti basically was our whole defense. Unfortunately he threw his back out carrying the whole workload and couldn't play to his usual level late in the season, because he was so banged up.

I can't wait for the next season. That Canty signing is still my favorite one, after locking up Joe (yes, even better than the Doom signing), just because it allows Ngata to play more inside.

Ouch. That's a good point. I always forget, that it's a list for 2013. So confuzzled. I will hate seeing Ed Reed listed as a Texan. Argh.

There is not a center in the NFL capable of stopping Ngata when he gets going... Why I love it too.

QBs are going to crap their pants when they see

Suggs

Doom

Ngata

Canty

And Jones after them

The funny thing is 3 of those guys are going to be rookies.  I guarantee Wilson, Luck, and RGIII made the list.

I wonder how much of that new young hype will actually survive the 2013 season. The quiet Luck will probably fall the most, eventhough he is hands down the best QB out of all 3 of them. RGouchmyknee is hands down one of the most hyped players in the league. Aside of Colin Kaepernick, maybe. Wilson will probably be the most successfull next season, thanks to his ridiculously loaded team.

I don't think Luck will fall that much next season. Maybe less yards, but he has talented receivers and is a talented player himself. Kaepernick will continue to be a pretty good quarterback and will continue to be hailed as a great one. RGIII will be out by week 8 after his coach's Shannanagins has him playing QB, DB, and returning punts. And the Seahawks could go 0-16 and I think Wilson would still be content as long as they beat the Packers in the third preseason game and he got to grin at Rodgers again.

By fall, I actually mean "fall in the next years rankings". I don't think Luck will regress.

Weird how the reaction guys use Ben's two rings as reasons why he's too low, yet when they were arguing Earl Thomas over Ed Reed they pushed Reed's HOF resume aside. Also, Dameshek saying maybe 5 years ago he'd pick Reed even though Ben won his last ring 5 years ago. I don't put much stock into the list and I put no stock into the reaction show, but is it too much to ask for there being some sort of consensus on how the list is made up? That way there's no excuse for this double standard type thing.

To be clear though, I think Ben should probably be higher. Assuming he'll be healthy this year, I think I'd put him above 3 or 4 guys that will be ahead of him on this list. Also, I would pick Thomas over Reed. I'm basing it off of what they're expected to do this upcoming season, by the way. It's pretty obvious Reed has the better career at this point, but Thomas is more likely to make a bigger impact this upcoming season.

I think Ben is where he should be.  Granted, he has two Super Bowl titles to his credit, but he has only played one FULL season.
