Welcome to Baltimore, Arthur Brown

Meh, I don't like it. He can't shed blocks, which is crucial in a 3-4. And looking at his tape, he's not that fast either. I give this one a B-

Love Arthur Brown.   So glad we came away with him over any of the other ILB

Says a lot, that the team made a trade to get their guy.

Says a lot, the team traded quite a bit to snag him.

We didn't trade that much for him Pu. We did trade 2 of our picks, but we still have 8 more left, and we still have our 3rd. Plus, according to most people (besides myself), he should've went much sooner. I'm just not seeing the same things you all are seeing. Idk.

Don't know much about Brown, but it's good to hear that he might be good enough to be a rookie starter this year.

While we didn't trade a lot, we still made a move to get our guy.

Both Elam and Brown can come in and start.

I don't know anything about him, I just knew that the second we traded up to get him this entire board would collectively squeal with joy lol.

i wanted to move up in the first to get him. He's athletic, fast, explosive, can cover, great at coverage in fact, his one weaknesses is taking on blockers, sometimes gets swallowed up, he has great instincts.

Had great games against Baylor when rg3 was there for example. A bad game would be Oregon bowl game if yous want to watch tape on him

WalterFootball:

56. Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State: A+ Grade
This is the best pick of the second round. Arthur Brown may have been chose in the 20 range had he been completely healthy. He'll heal up, and Ozzie Newsome will end up with another draft-day steal. Brown is as best of a successor to Ray Lewis as Baltimore could have obtained in the 2013 NFL Draft.

As my father used to tell his players (albeit young high school kids), 'you can't be anyone else. You can't fill anyone else's shoes. But you can be you and bring your game to the table.'

Brown won't be Ray Lewis, but he will be Arthur Brown, and he'll make the position his own in Baltimore. Whether he becomes a Hall of Famer in his career or a first year bust, he won't be Ray Lewis. He'll be Arthur Brown.

He looks like a SS... lol. This will be the smallest LB we've ever put on the field.

He's not that small compared to some of the other LBs we've fielded.  An inch shorter than McClain or Lewis.  He's still weighs in the 240s as well.  McClain is 245.  He weighed the same as when Ray Lewis entered the league.

The Brown signing means that McClain's thin ice melted a bit.

Damn do I wish he could've smartened up and never gotten in trouble.

To defend the guy... ahem... he's the same EXACT size as someone who wore the number 52 for us for years and years... someone only legends are told about... who's that guy again?? Some guy named Ray Lewis?? Yeah, thats it.
