What happened with Hayden? Lions dropped out so do I own him for .5? Or is there another bid?

This has really gone out of control. I thought it was fine to sign a guy or two without a cap hit, but all those names is a little out there. Also, it gives nobody else a chance. To top it off, there was no notice just a ten minute notice or whatever.

That's extremely unfair.

That's extremely unfair.

I think this whole thing should never have happened. At least not the way it did. Very poor show.

I want to make it clear I am not saying this because a guy I wanted was taken. There was a guy I like who was taken but that's not a big deal to me. It's just how quickly it was initiated that bothered me.

Agreed. this should at least have a set time where anyone who wasnt reading the discussion thread in a 15 min span has an idea what is happening. I also dont like the idea of free players, personally,

I understand your point there. I don't mind a guy without a cap hit, personally. Not one or two guys.

I even understand the idea Truth & Crush had. I mean, to be honest, a lot of those guys we have all had an opportunity to bid. We could have had them if we wanted. We obviously had other priorities. I can't fault Truth or Crush for that. It makes sense because I mean really--those guys will not have jobs. So, to me, if you want them for camp bodies so what? We have operated under the rule of 51. That's the same principle to me.

With that said, it puts people like me (0 stars) at an unfair advantage. I could sign a ridiculous amount of FA and that's unfair. Other teams, who have cap remaining, should have priority. As of me writing this, I have NO idea who has cap left. I do know it's not fair for me to be able to enter with no stars, though. I am fine as long as there is parity or all those who have cap are done with the bidding or have had an opportunity to bid. I just dislike the idea of going about it like this, though. Especially without the consent of others.

I bet Arnie may have some colorful words to say about this, as if we are signing guys without caps I am sure he would be in on that.
