Ray had his issues and turned his life around. Rolando has been through this multiple times and still can't figure it out.

Like I said in the other thread, Ray Lewis was 23 before or did we already forget that. Rolando seems to have a problem with authority. Whether it's tinted glass or someone telling him he can't be somewhere, he will eventually grow out of it.

 

You can't cut him now. Gotta ride it out. Can't sign a guy one week and cut him a week later when he gets a disorderly conduct charge. Fine him. That's how you make an example out of him and still show the rest of the NFL that you are Ozzie Newsome and you didn't sign this guy on a whim.

And David Reed had his one run-in and you haven't heard about any run-ins since. McClain has been through this multiple times. He's young, yes, but still an adult. He just can't figure it out.

I am just saying this isn't the first arrest on this team.

 

Hell this isn't the first allegation. People were talking about Suggs regarding the guns or the bleach incident.

 

If he is done, it's done. But you are a fan, not a member of the front office so you do not know what is inevitable.

 

Do I care if he stays or not? No. Not exactly a fan of the guy but I know Ozzie liked something about him and I am curious to see if he can fit in our defense instead of that 4-3 he's been in.

You're making a huge assumption by saying he will grow out of it. Even if he does, which is a huge if, when will that be? When he's 30? 35? 50?

And Ray did not demonstrate a consistent pattern of making juvenile decisions. Everyone was 23 at some point, and guess what? 98% never went to prison and/or collected felonies.
