Yeah I also expected him to be in the 50s, but apparently he's gonna be higher than I thought.

 

Based on the commercials, it looks like Ngata will be in the 40s. Imagine that, 3 Ravens offensive players will likely be in the top 40 (Flacco, Rice, Smith).

 

The previews never lie. Ngata at #42.

 

Do we know how many Ravens total are on the list? I'd imagine Torrey, Ed, Rice, Suggs, and Joe are all on the list. Although as high as we are now, Ed and Suggs are pushing it....

 

9. Suggs already appeared at #56. Though they weren't clear if they meant current Ravens or Ravens from the SB team. I'm thinking current Ravens.

 

Flacco, Rice, Smith, Ngata, Suggs, Dumervil, Jones, Pitta, Leach. There's your nine, imo.

I tend to like these rankings, I don't really get all offended by it like a lot of people do (not necessarily people on this board) but the unbridled narcissism in the reaction show from all the analysts really grinds my gears. "WELL ITS OBVIOUS THESE PLAYERS DON'T REALLY WATCH FOOTBALL, IF THEY PUT HIM ON HERE!"

 

Their job is to play the game, not analyze it. They're not paid for that. The list is for fun to see how the players feel. Its a slightly better version of the Probowl.

They showed him a lot in the previews, so I expect him to be there. But I agree that we're getting in "he's way too high" territory, especially since it looks like Julio Jones will be revealed in the next episode. 

 

Maybe the countdown really is for Ravens from the SB team. In that case we're looking at Flacco/Rice/Reed most likely. But I just can't see Torrey being overlooked in favor of Pitta.

Ed Reed has no business being in this list unless they asked Tom Brady and Bill as well as Brandon Weeden and maybe Andy Dalton. He's not a top 100 player anymore.

Same thing could've been said about him and Ray Lewis on the last list or the one before. Respect for past accomplishments go a long way. And Reed had a very impressive carreer even if he was just along for the ride on our championship team. Torrey definitely would deserve it more. Just ask Champ Bailey.

I believe Leach was in  the top 50 last year, so him being in the top 40 wouldn't surprise me that much.

 

Yanda should absolutely be on the list but he won't be because he doesn't have the name recognition.
