it doesn't say the name of the person who wrote the post that was quoted though. I know I just look for my username to see if someone replied to a post of mine. Easy to filter through the posts.

Can this get fixed

 

I've been checking on the quote thing personally from my phone, tablet and computer using a couple different browers and haven't had any issues. What brower are you using and on what device?

I'm on mobile so I am. Doesn't give me the name. Its shaded and all I just have no clue who's been quoted

Try logging off and restarting your phone and logging back in, that's essentially what I did because my battery died.

Additionaly, on some mobile phones you need to go into the setings area to reset the cache. Mobile devices store stuff just like computers and you sometimes need to clear it out to "force" your device to downloaded the updated codes that are being installed on the boards.

Clearing the cache worked for me.

 

I just did that with Chrome and I THINK It worked. (if this posts then it did).

Not a one.  I've noticed the new way quotes get integrated, but I don't like it.  It isn't as easily navigable, it makes it slightly more difficult to take out the parts i don't need.

I've noticed a removal of HTML code in many of the quick reply settings and that you don't auto jump to the box when you quote someone. Nice changes, different to what there was before and thus will be met with some resistance by people because they don't like change, but I think it makes sense.

 

I'm guessing the idea was to make some changes to the way people post comments on articles on the website side of the things, but until the bigs get completely worked out I won't pass judgement/comment on them, to be fair to the web designers who are making the changes.

 

What other changes are there that I have missed?

The new share this post feature. Look to the far right on the shaded line containing the posters name. It's next to the post number.

Yeah, I noticed that. I also had some crazy format earlier in mobile but it's back to normal now.

I also noticed that the BBCode mode thing is now available, I guess to prevent people from accidentally selecting those options? That's not a bad touch.

My only complaint is how the text justifies. I really, really dislike that. Is there any way to change that?

Every time I hit the "next" button on mobile it takes me to page 1 of the thread. I believe it's a bug?

still can't get to my profile page by clicking on my username (both on chrome and ie9 or 10) after clearing the cache; can only do it via the icon in the blogs

yep, editing like that - all the editing tools are grayed out for me in quote mode

You have to hit a button. I know what you are talking about. One of those buttons in the panel where you have the bold, italics, colors, etc. is embossed, the rest indented & grayed. You have to select the embossed button in the top left of the area where you select those text editing options, then the rest becomes available.

I still would like an answer regarding the text justifying when you type on Chrome. Haven't tried on IE but the justified text is highly irritating.

I have been able to use the "next" option on mobile and it takes me to the next page with no issues.

I'm using Safari on an iPhone 5.
