Come on, it's Nike, they're going to dramatically change the uniforms sooner or later. They already placed their mark on the Seahawks uniforms.

I think their grey uniforms aren't bad. Much better than those Lime Green disasters from couple years ago.

i love our uniforms, but i feel like theyre a little outdated. our logo could use some tweaking, nothing major, but maybe find a way to fix the backwards B on one side of our helmet. another thing im not a huge fan of, is a black helmet, colored jersey, and white pants, it just seems like its all over the place, i really prefer the black jersey over the purple, and i like our away uni's over the purple too.

I also love the Nike concept from years back.

If nothing else, I think our default home uni should be the black pants Purple jersey.

I think if they did a new alternate, it would be interesting to see purple pants/white jersey for away games with the white and purple striped socks...I know that's a pipe dream though

I personally don't care for the crazy "Oregon Ducks" style uniforms. I even think the Seahawks are pushing it a little far. I like the more tradional style with the stripes down the side of the pants. Purple jerseys or black jerseys don't make all that much difference to me as long as we are winning in them. I don't mind a little tweeking, but lets keep them looking like a normal football uniform.

I think we should add a new helmet and alternate home jersey. Anyone remember the old school jerseys by starter with the full Ravens bird? I think that would be an awesome way to remember the Ravens of old. It would give us as fans somewhat of a retro feel. These would be perfect in time for the thanksgiving game against Pit this year. Also the shield on the helmet would be an awesome touch up too, or the full birds head just on the side

I think we can do white helmets.

 

I prefer to use them early in the season when the thermostat reads 100 degrees.

 

Then when winter comes, we revert to our all-black uniforms.

I love this version....especially the helmets even though the logo is a bit "eagleish". This would be awesome also add black  pants and jerseys into the rotation and the look would kill. I also want to note that this version is Under Armour. Mark my words....UA will be the leagues next uniform provider when Nike's contract is up.

Their unis are suppose to be close to the Nike Combat Pro with all the fancy colors and huge cartoonish logos.

 

If they look good, then I guess we can start petitioning for a uniform change, since we been wearing the same thing since the 90s.

Frankly, we can't do anything about that. White jerseys are the standard away jersey and there isn't anything we can do about it. All the other teams wear white jerseys too.

with so many uniform changes going on around the nfl, i feel like we need a update, not a major change, but small adjustments to make us look like we play in 2013. i feel like our uni's are comparable to the jets 80's and 90's uni's, they just reek of the past.

id like to see the backwards B fixed on the bird logo, id LOVE to see our default uni as the black jersey/white pants. and id really like to see a possible matte black helmet or maybe a white helmet. but keep the general design the same because i love the number font and the shadowing on our jerseys.

short version: i like our uni's but theyre a tad bit out of date, and i think could use some minor adjustments, and i think the best way to go about that is some color coordinating with the jerseys we already have and some modernizing on our helmet

Nope.  Away jerseys are required to be white.  Let's use the Jags as an example.  They have a black, home jersey.  If we're the away team, we show up in our away jerseys that are also black.  That's why it's not allowed, and white is the only color you can use during away games unless the home team elects to wear their away jerseys.

The problem with the black pants is, that when you put them together with black socks, it starts to look like the team is wearing ballet tights.

It might be a bit controversial, but I don't want to have that many black elements on the Ravens uniform anyway. Too many teams wear black uniforms or uniforms with black elements in them. I would prefer the Ravens to look unique.

The new Jags uni's are nice if you havent seen them yet. I don't personally care about the Jags.....but their new Helmet is intresting. Its fades from that dark teal black mix to gold AND it has a matte finish with a newer version of their cat on the sides. I would love to see our helmets with a matte finish. Maybe we could swing something like that. By the Seahawks last year and the Jags this season. The NFL might be getting a little bit loose with their policies.
