I'm just glad they got him. My friend's mom grew up near Boston and I know it was probably tough for her to watch. And I can't even imagine how stressful it must've been being a citizen of the neighborhood with that many cops patrolling the police. But I'm proud of their law enforcement and all other agencies who were involved. I'm especially proud of the citizen who tipped off the police to Dhozkar's (don't care if i spelled his name wrong) position. He probably knew who he was dealing with and knew the person was probably armed and dangerous and he still was able to make that call. Just hope we get some answers.

You are exactly right.
That is very much "an eye for an eye" culture.
Any public aduse, torture, or exacution will result in some form of retaliation. Or at the very least, increase the hate.
They do not respect us. They do not fear us. We are the enimy.

Yes, it's treading on the borderline. Stay away from debating the merits (or lack thereof) of capital punishment and we can keep rolling. What we don't want is members arguing with each other over anything but football. We know this situation is very emotional but we still expect everyone to abide by the Code of Conduct.

I'm staying out of the debates. But I really wish I would have thought of finding this image last night as the good news of capture broke. Better late than never: my photographic tribute to the Boston PD and all the other law enforcement officers and agencies involved in the capture.

The story behind the image: Back in '07, I worked as a National Park Service ranger at Boston National Historical Park. The city of Boston has always made a big deal of celebrating the anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill. Anyway, the morning of the BH Day parade, I was sent off with the government camera to run around all day photographing the festivities. This police officer led the parade. The thumbs-up was his own spontaneous gesture.

You're right he is a citizen (as of september 11, 2012). His brother wasn't, but that is neither here nor there.

Oh, I know. I wasn't trying to correct anyone either. I just thought I had heard he became a citizen somewhere along the way. I just can't imagine that much evil in someone. I look at my own two boys, and it's just sad to me that those two young men were bubbling toddlers once too, with their whole future in front of them, and then look how they destroyed it. So sickening.

Thats because people dont care, they can be influenced, they could even hate decisions made by their country. Thats the problem with the homegrown threats that have no terror organization ties, most of the time its for zero purpose whatsoever, just to do it. I wont speak on punishment anymore. I think his trial should be speedy and harsh swift justice be carried out.

I do have an Idea for punishment. He should be the Patriots tackling dummy for their OTAs
