He looks like such a young kid in that picture they keep showing. It's sad that someone can get that mixed/messed up. :(

Amazing that the gun shots heard were all from him. Boston PD was instructed to NOT fire back and get him alive. Well done!

Life will never be "normal" for Bostonians again, but I am relieved to know that they can begin to live again and also begin healing after their week of horrors.

you know what's sort of crazy? ( I don't doubt these are the two responsible) but the suspects are already considered as being guilty. I'm pretty certain they were... but still. the legal system still has to observe due process

These guys fired at police officers and threw bombs at them. They took the second guy alive at the risk of their own lives. What protocol did they fail to follow again? And yeah the public considers them guilty when there is little doubt based on all evidence that they are. They're still gonna stand trial. I think the Boston police should be commended for the job they have done.

Got to give props to the Boston police department. The kid was firing hand grenades & shooting for over a period of 1 hour, but they were determined to get this guy alive.

They got the job done, and got the guy alive. Now he'll face the punishment of the law in the right manner. Props to the police.

To lighten the mood...

Prior to his capture.
A reporter asked...
"Do we know if he was alive when he got into the boat?"

Really.

They also had to confirm that the boat was not in the water and was indeed on ground.

I'm not a big supporter of our legal system or police forces . Even still when they had the guys "surrounded" it took a normal citizen to point them as to where this nut was hiding. First it's "we didn't exchange fire.. then it "we fired into the boat"... they can even keep their story straight ... and even though suspects of acts of terrorism and threat to state don't have to be Miranda'd ... it's still a constitutional right.. which an executive order was passed to bypass this... it's just the so shady these days... The government has the power to kill you before you stand trial if they feel you're a threat... don't believe it , research it.

Well here is what I think should happen. I think America should use this man as an example to any would be threats that wish to hurt our citizens and our way of life. He is not a citizen therefore should not stand trial. Give him the death penalty and broadcast it for the world to see.

That would go over well.

I dont think what I said was political. I just think its time to stop the nonsense. You cannot carry out an act of terror on Americans and live in an American Prison the rest of your life to tell about it.

Broadcasting a live execution of a non American citizen would be ludicrous.

I know where you're coming from but it's still nuts.

Maybe it wouldnt. But you know what. It would be a large statement that would let the world know we mean business when it comes to bringing justice to terror bringers.

BTW my opinion may be skewed because I am an American Soldier

The statement would be lost.

Believe me. I'm all for getting as much info as possible and then discretely putting a .22 into his skull. But to do it publicaly would be simply dumb.
